Here in Dallas, women tote Kate Spades, bleach their hair a creamy golden
"Dallas blond," wear capris and sandals and cruise around town in
bigger-is-better SUVs. Texas fashionistas yawn at trendy Western revivals
like turquoise and cowboy hats and cringe to think that people around the
world actually believe all Texans live on ranches, wear cowboy boots and
drive Cadillac convertibles with Longhorns on the hood.
