Description
Here's a great place for Florida retirees to exchange useful and enjoyable information based on personal Florida experiences. This Group is intended to be a fun, low stress Group and to meet those goals the Group has the following rules of conduct.
General Rules:
Regrettably, because of the many people who have a desire to bother members with spam, inappropriate material, marketing surveys, scams ..... anything other than just becoming a " friendly, helpful next door neighbor," our Floridaretirees Group must set down rules of good manners and acceptable behavior, beginning with having a factual Yahoo profile and upfront statement as to why you want to join our community.
To join this Group:
(1)you must have a completed Yahoo profile.
(2)you must state, on your request to join this group, why you want to join the group.
Failure to do the above is an automatic nonacceptance of membership.
Once you are accepted as a member, the following rules apply:
(1)Spam, inappropriate material and attempts to market and sell products and services will NOT be tolerated.
(2)Attempts to conduct market surveys for ANY reason will NOT be tolerated.
(3)This Group is NOT for arguing and debating politics. There are many other Groups with the purpose of pushing and arguing political agendas. This Group is NOT one of them.
(4)Posting messages from other Groups should not be done and such messages will likely be deleted. If you feel another Group may be of interest, simply name the Group's address. Do NOT copy messages to this Group's message board from other Groups.
(5)Breaking these basic rules of civilization will result in, first, a warning and deleted offending messages, and, second, the offending member being removed.
Thank you for your consideration.

Re: Mortality
Well, maybe a cat has multiple lives, but we humans are doomed to die slowly, one part at a time, until there is no medical solution for the systemic failure.

Re: Mortality
Each of us is immortal. The mortality of the physical husk that, for awhile, shelters our immortal "fire of life" is a gift to experience the reality of this
