language.
You can now use the software and print calendars or charts in any of the 20
available languages.

A special thanks goes to Annie Pecheva and Galya Atanasova, who did the
translation work.

Just finished the work on more online calculators, one for Feng Shui and one
for Nine Star Ki.
These free tools can now also be accessed and used from most mobile phones
(as long as they are internet/wap enabled).
They also no longer depend on javascript (which was a problem with the older
versions)

***  The new version 4.1 of our program has been received with enthousisast
responses.

Some people experienced problems to download and install the software
properly.
So, we have set up a special page on our site with more detailed
instructions:

Especially people working on Windows 95/98 or Me may need to install the
Windows update
components mentioned in Step 3.

If you got no luck so far in getting this new program up, you are welcome to
try again.

You are also welcome to email us your questions and suggestions.


*** Some people wrote us to ask if it is allowed to burn their own backup
CD-rom, because this program is a big
download.

The answer is yes, you can make hardcopy of the program and you can even
give the CD to your friends who want to try it.
Of course they will also need to buy the program if they want to keep using
it beyond the 30 day trial period.



***  Somebody was very worried after seeing her Luckgraph for the next 20
years.
When the luckgraph goes below zero (because the so called unfavourable
elements appear), it does not mean you will get sick or die.
It does not mean a lot of bad luck will come.
If you understand correctly it can be a great time.

I like to compare it with a farmer. In spring and summer he is very active
outside growing new crops, and harvesting them in autumn.
In winter he cannot go out. He will stay in the house and keep warm and eat
from the food he has stored in the previous year.
Now he has time to read a book, he can repair his tools and make plans for
the next summer...
It would be foolish to say that summer is good and winter is bad.

If the luckgraph goes below zero and unfavourable elements appear, it means
you are entering a period of winter in your life.
This is a time to be careful with your resources, a time for inner renewal.
It is not a time to realise big new projects in the outside world, it will
be difficult to succeed.



*** Many have written for more information about the new possibilities in
the software.
How to use the Visual I Ching, what to do with these different day star
formulas, ... ?

We will prepare articles on our site to explain these topics in more detail.
As the information becomes available it will be announced here in the

I am happy to announce the release of the new Four Pillars & Feng Shui 4.1

The download is 9.28 MB , so please be patient and try again later if the
connection is very slow, especially in the beginning when many people try to
download at the same moment.
The file is self-extracting, and will automatically install when you run it.
There is no need to delete the older version 3.1

The program is a free upgrade for all registered users, but everybody will
have to apply for a new password within 30 days.

People who have not bought the program before can download it for a free 30
day trial.
After 30 days the program will lock and the password will be required.
Until October 19th the software can still be ordered at the old price of $68
(or $76 if you want the CD-rom).
After October 19th the price will go up.

The new Four Pillars & Feng Shui 4.1 is almost complete.

A test version is now available for download and beta testing.
I hope some of you can take the time and trouble to try out this new
program, and give feedback about it before the final release end of
September.

It is completely functional, but the new helpfile is still to be written, so
just click wherever you want and soon you will find out all the new
possibilities.
The program has now four seperate screens which are interactive with each
other.
Besides the Four Pillars program and the Flying Stars program there is now a
fully functional Nine Star Ki program and an I Ching program, all in one.
Printing possibilities are expanded and better quality.

I am leaving tomorrow for a much needed 2 week holiday after all this
programming (almost 2 years), so please be patient for responses to your
email feedback or questions...


The download is now 9.01 MB, so if you have a slow internet connection it
will take about 1 hour to download (broadband should be much faster).
If the connection is too slow please try again later when there is no server
overload.
The file is not yet on the main fourpillars.net site, so use this link to

Just run the file to install the program.
There is no need to remove the older version of Four Pillars & Feng Shui.

*** Some small bugs have been fixed in the Four Pillars & Feng Shui 3.1 program,
and there is a more convenient helpsystem.

A patchfile is available for download , so you can bring your software up to
date.
Proceed as follows:

1) Click here : www.ping.be/icrea/fpfs31patch.exe to download the patchfile and
save it to your harddisk.

2) Run the "fpfs31patch.exe" to install the patch.

3) You will be asked for the directory where you have installed the program.
Normally this will be
"C:\Program Files\Fpfs31"
If you have choosen another installation directory you will have to change
accordingly. You can use the "Browse..." button for this purpose.

4) Now click the "Install" button.

5) Click the "Close" button when the installation is complete.

Email us at support@... if you have some trouble with this proces.

Using this update patch will not remove any of the work you have saved before.



*** Work at the new upcoming version 4.1 is proceeding.
While it has taken longer than expected, you will be rewarded for your patience:
the new version will bring you amazing new possibilities.
Besides expanded programs for Four Pillars and Feng Shui there will be a
complete
9 Star Ki program and an I Ching program, which are all interactie with each
other.
This new version is about 90% ready , so we hope to release it soon (it will be
announced in next newsletter).
Registered users will receive a free upgrade to this new version.

Using Four Pillars to predict the stock market.


The financial markets offer an interesting field where we can see the
effects of the cycles we know from Four Pillars and Nine Star Ki.
Many professional investors admit they are using (Western) astrology
to time their decisions.

Chinese astrology can also be used for this purpose as you can see in

Snake year.



A new year has started, the year of Metal Snake.
It will be a very interesting year to watch because it is also an 8
Earth year in Nine Star Ki.

With period 7 ending and the new period 8 starting in 2004, this year
may very well bring us a little preview of what we can expect in the
coming period 8, a little taste of things to come..

And next year will be a 7 Metal year, back to the good old period 7
themes one more time...

Who becomes the next president of US ?


Over the next weeks all eyes will be on US to see who becomes the next
president.
In March I made a prediction for this, based on Four Pillars. I repost

For those of you who want to study the charts of famous people, I have
attached a zipfile with birth data.
Upgraded lists will be made available for download at:
http://www.fourpillars.net/famous.zip

This zipfile currently includes data of 230 famous people, which you
can open directly from the Four Pillars & Feng Shui software.
All you have to do is unzip this file and extract to the FPFS31
directory
(the default location is: C:/Program Files/FPFS31/FPdatabase/)
After you have done this, the data are easily accessible from the
"Open" button in the software.

be very happy if you could pass them on to me. This way I can go on
expanding the data list..
