Hey Bob,

There are other plastic materials available. You can buy the same
material that is used for store-bought cutting boards, in sheets.
Over here, in the States, it is about 1/4 the price of Corian. You
can use regular woodworking tools on it. I've never seen it, but
there also is some kind of material available, just for that purpose.
When you slice on it, with a knife, it self-seals, after use. You may
have to hunt for these products. Try a hardwood and/or sheet good
wholesaler. If nothing else, it could be a special order.
