Hello -

I'm new to the list, and I have a request for information. I am
looking for examples of furniture that has been built to look old,
crooked or junky on the web. Also, furniture that is made
with "found objects" or non-standard furniture components. Any web
addressed or designers' names would be appreciated.

I saw an exhibit years ago, and it featured tall two-door kitchen
cabinets, all made just a bit skewed. They leaned a little to the
side, and the doors didn't exactly meet. The designer used crude
metal of wooden latches and door handles, and each door had a small
square window with wooden or wire bars or mesh. The wood was thickly
painted in many layers of a single odd color, like some old
unrefinished many of you have probably seen.

Seen anything like that? Please contact me.

Thanks!

Tony
