Re: [Furniture Making] Wood for a Bed

Hello, Thanks for all the help so far. The style of bed will be a sleigh. sorry
I didnt tell you that in the first email. my fiance and I found a sleigh at
Marshall Fields right now they dont have a pic of it on there web site. yes I do
live in the USA, Detroit Michigan to be exact. Jim I like your suggestion about
using the cherry. how would I finish the bed? would I just put a wood wax on all
the wood and call it good or a sealer? please fill me in more about the this.
Thanks minddesign for suggesting the use of bed rail joiners or bed joiners, I
was just look at some the other day. I saw about four or five different ones
does it matter witch one I use? thanks for the idea to use the white oak, I was
thinking that could be a good wood to use, but didnt konw how it would take or
look with the stain on it. Thanks guys for your help I look forward to hearing
from you.

Kris
