Hi All,
  I'm a big garfield fan. I love reading the comics.  I've got way too
many garfield things to list them all. But here's an idea..coffee
cups, stuffed animals (one is 4 foot tall), clothing, nic-nacs,
Christmas decorations, and much more. OK. I'll admit I'm obsessed.
  Well anyway, I noticed that there is a lot of junk being posted here.
But, I also read that someone is trying to fix the problem. So, I'm
joining in hopes that this group will work out or maybe someone will
start a new one.

I just looked through the archives to see when the owner of this group last
posted. It was 4/1/2000. We've obviously been deserted! Is anyone interested in
starting a new PORN FREE Garfield Club?

the owner of this group is gv14_crow...
i went through all of the members and there isn't a single moderator...this
would explain why things that should not be posted would be allowed to be posted
to the group! an owner of a group usually just isn't able to monitor a group all
of the time, that is why a couple of monitors (helpers) to help take care of the
group are usually appointed...
do i hear any volunteers?

I have been a Garfield fan forever and a big collector since the
beginning, everything from the plush toys to Christmas ornaments to
books.  One of my prized possessions is Jim Davis' autograph on the
first six books.  That was from many, many years ago.  I am going to
see the movie this weekend and have been waiting anxiously for it to
come out.  We are going to Indianapolis to take part in a cat show
but I found the location of the only theater there showing the movie
and found directions from our hotel (12 miles).  Going to buy ticket
early tomorrow afternoon for the 7:20 show.  The trailers on TV are
great!

Sorry to ramble on - looking forward to seeing everyone's e-mails
and being able to chat on line about the funniest cat in the world.
