help me find some information on some of my ancestors.
One of the names is Paul Schuetze, born in Iowa and
was married to a Rosemary Wright that was born in
Iowa also. They had at least one sibling by the name
of Donald J. Schuetze born Jan. 25,1917 in NE. He
was married to an Opal Lintner born sometime in 1922
and was born in NE. They had at least 3 siblings. One
named Arthur Schuetze and one named Franklin Raymond
Schuetze. Franklin was my father. He was born June 19,1938.
He only had one child Kathy Jo Hobbs, born Aug.
17,1957 and then he adopted a son of the name of Damon
Schuetze. I don't know of his birth date.

800 for an ancestor your task sounds easy but it may
not be so. First: get all avail. info re: yr father
from relatives. Second: Since you have info on mother,
find date and place of marriage and write or contact
town hall for marriage certificate. This should show
parents, and place of father's birth. Third: Try Census
Records for father's place of birth or where you know
that they lived during a Census year. Fourth: Try Soc.
Sec. Death records if father deceased. Also look for
probate records for wills, real estate deeds etc. if you
know where they lived. And the list goes on but in
most cases, in at least recent years, there are some
records if you are willing to spend the time to search
them out. Good Luck.
ello everyone! I've been searching for my
biological father's side for about 10 years with dead
ends.Even my DOB was changed to hide the facts behind my
birth so searching has been difficult. The family name
is Gilsvik and I'm not sure of the correct spelling.
I would have 1 brother and 1 sister around 40 years
old. Anyone with any info, please leave me a message
here. Thanks.
