Well, the spammers seem to have been dealt with. That's great. Thanks whoever
needs thanks. I think Weeds should run for President. His slogan could be: "I
will restore $5 a gallon gas as soon as I am inaugurated!" Or "I will return
the day of the horse."
Or "Let's play cowboys and arabs!--- Not arabian cowboys!" I sure he could get
elected on any one of those slogans. And Hilda would make an excellent First
Lady, too.

Dear George the Misser and other Weeds Loyalists,

I'm with you, George! And it seems we've lost at least one person who unsubscribed and I'm sure it's due to these unsolicited spams. Groups are supposed to be a safe place, what's going on here??????

Hi Tumbleweeds Loyalists

Someone appears to be using the grimygulchcafe emailing list for commercial purposes. I wonder how that can be prevented? I tried to connect to Jim Ryan's collection of old strips, but was unable to get to it with the address he provided.

I sure miss Weeds and the gang. They are surely needed to provide surcease from the present political nonsense currently circulating.

I'm not sure Tumbleweeds would agree with that last sentence -- most
likely his campaign slogan would be "Anybody But Hamhocker". :)

Hilda never gives up. Never gives up. She deserves second spot. And to not
even offer her the VP slot would offend many you-know-who's supporters.

What's on ebay?  The collections of people like us, or some of the books? I have all of the books (I think)....  if it's collections and not books, do you have the link to the ebay page?

Not sure where it went... I posted asking if what you're referring to is the books, or collections like what we have (I have all the last couple of years pasted in books, and the dailies from years before that)?  If collections, and on ebay, do you have a link to that page?

Does anyone have all the words to the "spring is here" poem in
Tumbleweeds back in the 60's?

It starts out,
Oh, buds is buddin buddily
as buds does ever year
and birds is birdin birdily
cause good old spring is here

Much appreciate any help regarding this.

Donna

Hardly any time at all. I've been off-line a couple of time in the
last few months and just need someone to watch out for spam post and
such if it happens again.

The Strip ran from 1965 to 2007 (correct me I'm wrong).

I don't remember when I first ran across Tumbleweeds, some time in the
60s.

The following 'Weeds books were printed, the "Best of" book is the
only one readily available, you can order it at the General Store.

Tumbleweeds #5
