Georgetown will be cosponsoring and MTV may make an appearance at the GW STAND BENEFIT CONCERT! Ruth Messinger from American Jewish World Service to be keynote speaker

COMMITTEE PROJECTS

DIVESTMENT- this fall we will be rallying with other schools in the area to get our universities to disclose and divest from dealings with the Sudanese government that are funding this genocide. We will work to mobilize the campus and the community to stand (no pun intended) with us and divest!

·         $10 optional but suggested dues please bring to the next couple of meetings.

·         $ for t-shirts if you want/signed up for one

·         We will be writing op-eds for newspapers to our local communities and to DC sources contact Justin at Jzorn@... for help

·         We will be helping Hillel collect 18 cents from everyone on campus to donate to the American Jewish World Service (this is enough to feed a person for an entire day).

·         Visit SJT office hours to harass him about disclosure and divestment!
