• Julia has ordered tshirts for people who gave money, she will let you know when they come in, If you ordered a shirt and still need to pay make sure you give me the money so she can place your order.  
• Annie will be training w/ CADE so we can hold events at venues that serve alcohol (not that any of us will be drinking…) so be sober and help Annie Tuesday September 20^th from 3-5 in the Thurston TV lounge. Contact Annie at Adenes@...

 

News:

• Middle America has started showing interest in Darfur, and various religious groups are recognizing the issue at conferences. Op-eds both locally and nationally are being written to promote the cause. If you are interested in writing an op-ed please contact Justin at jzorn@... .
• Peace talks will begin on September 15, tomorrow, in Abuja, Nigeria. http://allafrica.com/stories/200508240665.html for more information.
• Though many have said violence in Darfur has subsided, it is still present. One AU official said the violence is escalating…this is not going to end soon. Tuesday morning 10 civilians and 10 SLA soldiers were killed.
