Hey Everyone, as you should all know, we are having a
benefit concert to go along with the fast on October
6th, this coming Thursday. We have some great acts
lined up and it's going to be a rockin' show so
please, please, please come out and enjoy it! Now,
about the real subject of this email. This concert
will not work unless we have enough people who are
willing to help out with it. The jobs range anywhere
from handing out palmcards to loading in/out the
bands, working the table at the door, security, and
the list goes on. If you are at all interested in
helping out with the show please come to the meeting
on Tuesday at 9pm. If you come to the meeting you can
sign up for the specific job and shift. If you can't
make it to the meeting, just drop me with an email
with your name, what times your available on the
Thursday (the event goes from about 5:30-10pm, but
we'll need helping setting up and cleaning), and if
there's anything inparticular that you'd be interested
in. People that show up to the meeting though will
get preference in choosing their jobs.
Wednesday we will be doing some more dorm
storming from about 6-7pm, if you want to help with
this please come to Kogan Plaza at 5:45, I'll be right
under the clock. Also, what would be a huge help, and
anyone who signs up for this will be duly rewarded, is
that one of the artists playing at the show, Noah
Jacobs, his sister, and his organizer, need places to
crash on Wednesday and Thursday night. He said he'd
be down with floor space if that is all that's
available. I can have Noah crash at my place on
Wednesday, but I have someone staying over on Thursday
and I don't have to much space in my dorm. These guys
are flying in from Indiana and it would be a huge help
to me and I'm sure they would be extremely grateful to
anyone who can lend them a hand. Please get back to
me ASAP if you can help out. Thanks again and I'll
see you all at the meeting on Tuesday and at the show
on Thursday!
Peace-
