GW STAND MINUTES
Feb 21, 2006
Feb 21, 2006
This Friday 5-6 PM in the computer lab of the Elliot School we will
have a power hour of writing op-eds (opinion/editorials)!
It is a key time to keep pressure on the media to keep up on what is
happening in Darfur. We'll all be helping each other out, and now that
the US government is more actively addressing the genocide, we must
see to it that the media keeps the pressure on!
IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE BBALL GAME TONIGHT, think about wearing a
STAND shirt or a Darfur shirt of some kind as we will be selling GWear
and profits go to our group as well as our school in Darfur.
*GW STAND fundraises for a school in Darfur that recently received
additional funding by humanitarian groups to supply food. Now,
"Wi-Fog" has let in many more students. Yay!*
