The lobbying committee is still looking to cement appointments with several congressional offices for lobbying day for the Power to Protect Campaign!

THIS MONDAY GO TO CAPITOL HILL TO SCHEDULE LOBBYING APPOINTMENTS!

Please provide the times that you are available to go up to the Hill, and we will let you know where the office is you will go to (unless you have a preference) and the time and specific location.

ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COME AND HELP WITH STUFFING FOLDERS FOR THE P2P CAMPAIGN! YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

1) The Divestment Rally!
May 4th, 2-4 in Kogan Plaza!!!!
Tell everyone that we draw the line for divestment at genocide

2) The Save Darfur Rally!
April 30th, 2-4 on the mall (by the capitol)

IN ADDITION WE WILL BE HAVING A CLUB NIGHT ON FRIDAY, SO PLAY IT UP IF YOU HAVE TO….drink/dance for Darfur as proceeds benefit  we-fog, a school we  fund in the region

 

Thank you for all of your help! Our momentum coming up in the next few weeks is crucial in our campaign to keep the attention of the US government on Darfur, and recognize that it is imperative the issue be dealt with immediately and effectively.
