On July 29, some of the Washington Dc area's finest professional
musicians unite as Sonus Cura (caring sounds) in a concert to
benefit the Save Darfur Coalition, working to end the genocide in
western Sudan. Under the direction of Daniel Ozment, the program
features choral and instrumental works that express the profound
emotions and thoughts spurred by the ongoing tragedy.

About Sonus Cura
Sonus Cura ("caring sounds" in Latin) is a group of the Washington
D.C. area's most talented choral and orchestral musicians who use
classical music performances to bring people together and benefit
causes that affect us all. The musicians come from the area's finest
professional choirs and orchestras including the National Symphony
Orchestra, Cantate Chamber Singers, Washington Revels, Woodley
Ensemble, Washington Bach Consort and also other freelance singers
