The Continuing Crisis in Darfur: The United Nations Response
In Darfur, Sudan, the Sudanese government and the Arab militia they back are continuing to displace and destroy communities of tens of thousands of African tribal farmers. The United Nations recently issued a report on the crisis, noting the prevalence of war crimes and crimes against humanity, but declining to identify a state policy of genocide.
