Hey guys,
Sorry to clog your emails but I just wanted you all to know that TODAY Jerry Fowler will be speaking at the weekly Darfur Speak-Out Vigil from 5:30-6:30 at the park across from the White House. If you haven't been to one of these vigils, they are incredible and I've created a top ten list of why you should come:
10) Its really pretty outside and stopping the genocide in the sun is a lot more fun than stopping it in the rain.
9) The Save Darfur Coalition's new employee is easy on the eyes.
8) Africa Action will give you awesome Save Darfur stickers!
7) Its a good way to procrastinate from your work and help our cause.
6) Kofi Annan wants you to go. For real, read what he had to say:

5) You'll make me happy and I don't want to be there by myself!
4) You can count it as your daily exercise.
3) Caribou coffee is next door and we can get coffee afterwards.
2) You can go straight to the FMLA meeting (Marvin Center #402) afterwards and make it a Darfur night!
1) Jerry Fowler is speaking and he's just as cool as John Prendergast!
Ok so I made the list, its your job to come. Besides, I put John Prendergast's name in the top 10 list. That should make you want to come even more. I'm done playing David Letterman for the day so I'll see you there!
PS Keep reading for a Darfur volunteer opportunity for this summer at the Holocaust Museum.
