Making of the Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis 2 pack

As part of our continuing update on the Making of the Michael Myers
and Dr. Loomis 2 pack we would like to share with you some of the
concept drawings that we do before sculpting begins. Please note that
some of the articulation and features listed on the concept sheets
have changed during development. The initial concept was a more
generic outdoor scene that did not directly relate to anything on
screen in the Halloween films. The basic idea behind the initial
concept was to keep it clean and simple.

While the 2 figures were being sculpted we reviewed the base design
further and decided it would be better to go all out and really do
something special for this set. The first ever Dr. Loomis figure
facing off against the definitive version of Michael Myers needed to
be perfect.

We studied the Halloween movie(s) and could not find any one scene or
environment that was suitable to sculpt or fabricate in toy form. We
decided to utilize key icons and scenery like the front of the Myers
home to create our Halloween Deluxe Boxed Set.
