Anchor Bay to release HALLOWEEN documentary

Fangoria has learned that Anchor Bay Entertainment has picked up the
rights to the documentary HALLOWEEN: 25 YEARS OF TERROR for
distribution. Documentary contributor Sean Clark, while speaking with
Anchor Bay VP Mark Ward, confirms that the documentary will bow on
DVD (date not yet specified). Executive-produced by Malek Akkad, 25
YEARS is described at www.halloweenmovies.com as the
most "comprehensive documentary [on the franchise] ever produced.
Featuring over 70 interviews with actors and crew members from the
entire series, as well as fans and critics, the documentary
chronicles the longevity of the films—examining their vital influence
on the mainstream horror genre and impact on pop culture."

Additional features are set to include footage from the recent fan-
organized Halloween Returns to Haddonfield 25th Anniversary
convention, as well as "rare photos and film footage, and information
on the next sequel in this iconic movie franchise."
