Therapy:
Taking some advice, Lisa Huntress decides to go for some therapy. What her therapist, Keven see's when Lisa first walks through the door is a shy girl, with unvoiced hope. He knows he can help her. What Lisa finds is someone who understands her, and she finally feels she has found love, but would that require her to give up hunting?

Wow! Lone Huntress tells the story of Lisa Huntress, a cyborg, and all of the trials she goes through in her life. From her first experience after being rescued, and her first love, her first f/f. A.P. Miller does a wonderful job of making us feel as if we are there with Lisa. With vivid detail describing her suroundings, as well as her emotions. You really feel Lisa's fear, anger and pain. The love scenes are smoking hot and very detailed. Over all an engaging read with a well thought out plot, and a memorable character in Lisa. A.P. Miller does it again!!!!

For novels you must submit the first three chapters, including the ending of the story, along with your query letter and synopsis.

Each submission must contain a cover letter with a short biography, and full contact information: your full legal name, pen name if applicable, word count, and any publishing credits you have.

We welcome new and unpublished writers.

Word count for short stories must be 1,500 words minimum, 5,000 words maximum.

Novellas must be no longer than 30,000 words.

Novels must be no longer than 80,000 words.

If writing in multiple languages, all manuscripts submitted must be sent in English, as well as the secondary language.

Your submission must be saved in Word (.doc) or Adobe (.pdf) format, 12 pt Arial font, double-spaced. Any other formats will not be accepted. We don't want to see decorative fonts or bright colours in your work, nor do we want to see photos or illustrations. (Accompanying artwork is welcome via .jpg attachment, or on CD, but not in your manuscript itself.)

But if all that's true, then what is it about bad girls that make good guys want them so very . . . badly?

Andrew is definitely a nice guy. He's a hard-working, decent Christian fellow. Good with his hands, honest, honorable, and does the right thing by his family and his church.

Pathrusim is definitely a bad girl. About as unchristian as you can get, what with her being a demoness, straight from the pits of hell itself. She wants to wrap Andrew around her little finger, and enslave him for all eternity.

But what is it about Andrew that draws her to him? If she's such a bad girl, why does she want so badly to have a... nice guy?"

What do Bible verses, a guardian angel, a demon and Aunt Jemima have in common? I found out in this unique story about a succubus and a virgin.

Andrew is a single, upstanding citizen and a devoted churchgoer. He also tries to help where he is needed which leads to how he meets Patti. Andrew saves the demon in distress from two men who were attacking her. Unfortunately, the men were demon hunters and Andrew has saved a very bad girl. Andrew now makes it his mission, per his minister, to redeem Patti. There were things about him that made me laugh and made me like him more and more: I had tears running down my face as Andrew's two heads kept a running conversation with each other throughout the story.

Pathrusium is a succubus who always tells the truth. I liked how she wanted to make Andrew happy, despite her demonic tendencies. Whether she is a Girl Scout, a French maid, the girl-next-door or even Aunt Jemima, Patti tries to make Andrew's dreams come true.

The interactions between these two were often sweet, and made me fall more in love with them. When Andrew saved Patti's other client and agreed to do anything to make her happy I adored him as much as she did. When Patti played video games with Andrew her sense of childlike joy was fun to watch. Through it all I could feel my own heart expanding with the love Patti felt for Andrew and vice versa.

The supporting cast of characters make this story even better. There were a few cute scenes with Dannah, a guardian angel; Aaron, the minister; and even Andrew's parents. I also loved Malik and his endeavors to try to take Pathrusim away with him.

Don't let the Bible quotes at the beginning of each chapter throw you. They are well researched and fitting to the storyline and chapter they precede. Goods Guys Deserve Bad Girls showed me that there really are good guys out there and I think you'll agree that not all bad girls are really that bad.

   Sara is a willful woman. Once she has something set in her mind, there is no deterring her from her course. She is brave and her soul is pure. She provided me with a few laughs, a lot of aggravation at her stubbornness and near tears with her emotions. What a rollercoaster!

   Drake was once the leader of the Angel Warriors in heaven. Through some unfortunate and complicated circumstances, which I am going to left unsaid so that I don�t spoil it, he is now half angel and half demon and human. He is such an admirable character, constantly waging an internal war to keep his demon part in check and do what is good for the world. I simply loved him and loved him and Sara together even more.

   My only complaint is that I didn�t get enough of this story or the characters. I would love to read more about them and the secondary characters. I highly recommend this book and author to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance. I know for certain that this author is now on my auto-buy list!

First is PRIDE month on my yahoo group. Last year was the first time hosting a month long Pride event and it was so well received I'm doing it again. I had two new releases in June and one for July so i thought I'd combine the info and tell you a little about all three of them. One is a lesbian erotic short story, one is...a m/f erotic short story - OMG! I know, LOL Very rarely do my women want to play with a man. This makes only two times I can count. ^_^

And most recently is a three author lesbian erotica anthology i arranged with a theme of tattoos uniting all three stories. At my next reading i will be doing an excerpt from In My Skin, from the Tattoed Ladies toybox. (I read Sat from Broadly Bound (Book #1 in my BDSM GLBTQ Broad Horizons Series at the literary Foreplay event in Gibsonville NC)

I saw the flashing neon sign of Melissa's shop from over a mile away. The closer I got, the harder my foot pressed down on the accelerator. Instead of slowing down, I flew past the exit, missing the turn while my heart hammered in fear. "Shit! I can do this. I am not a coward."

I repeated the phrase over and over again as I pulled an illegal U-turn at the next intersection and forced myself to go back. By the time I parked the car and stumbled to the sidewalk, my legs were shaking so badly I almost fell flat on my ass. My mantra wasn't working. I was scared shitless. I stopped a block from my destination and leaned back against the nondescript wall of a tiny convenience store. One of the hundreds that filled the city. I had to calm down. "For Christ's sake, Kendra. Get a grip on yourself. People do this every fucking day."

The laugh that escaped sounded slightly hysterical. Who was I trying to kid? Maybe some people visited tattoo parlors regularly, but I wasn't one of them. In fact, I had a bit of a phobia where needles were concerned. I couldn't even have blood drawn at my doctor's office without passing out. "This is going to be a freaking disaster."

I'd just put my hand on the doorknob when the flashing Ink by M sign overhead went out, like an omen of something sinister coming my way. Considering what I was about to do, the warning seemed pretty appropriate. I did my best to shrug off the negativity, sucked in a deep breath, and forced myself to open the door. All I really wanted to do was turn around and run away. Fast. "I'm not a coward. I'm not a coward."

I kept repeating my mantra in an endless whispered loop while I glared at the empty waiting room that loomed before me. The left wall was covered in pictures of past clients showing off their tattoos, some done in places that defied both reason and sanity. The right wall held similar pictures, only these were of people and their piercings. One girl proudly showed off her double-D breasts and the huge rings she'd had attached to them. The thought of someone shoving a big-ass needle through my tits made me break out in a cold sweat.

On the far side of the wall, where the receptionist normally sat, was a huge display of black photo albums. These were Melissa's personal portfolios. There was also a poster advertising freehand drawings and specialized work for an extra fee. That was all it took. It wasn't working. I couldn't lie to myself. I was a chicken and I was about to prove it. I spun around, ready to make my escape, when I came face-to-face with Melissa, my life partner and the owner of the establishment I was about to flee.

I raised my right hand and gave a little finger wave, like a guilty child with one hand caught in the cookie jar. I wasn't sure I could outrun Melissa. Did I even want to try? "Um, hi."

We arrived at the club shortly after ten. The place was packed. Inside, the dance floor was a sea of bodies, all in different levels of undress and gyrating against one another in a blatant mimicry of sex. The place just reeked of desire. I was hoping to be one of the ones that got lucky.

I spotted Jackie from across the room. She was doing one of her cocktail routines, tossing and juggling three fifths of liquor as she fixed some exotic mixer for the woman patiently leaning against the bar in thrall. She had on a strappy black halter-top, held together with nothing more than two black bows. One tied around her neck and the other across her back.

The tops of her breasts strained against the glittery material every time she tossed and caught one of the bottles. I couldn’t see what type of pants she was wearing but that was okay. Just the top part of the show had me panting and wet. It was going to be a long, long wait until closing.

Jeanine gave me a shove. "Go get her tiger."

Her lips met mine for just a second before she pulled away and smiled. It was the look one woman gives another when she knows she's going to get laid, and it's going to be good. “What’ll you have?”

It took me a minute to process her question since most of my blood had gone south to my clit. I started to say 'you' and then bit back the comment as too clichéd. I wanted more than sex from Jackie, but for the moment, I think we were both too horny to rationalize any other needs.

"I'll have a beer."

"Taking it easy tonight?"

I nodded as she grabbed me a Bud Light and popped off the top. I definitely wasn't aiming to get drunk. I wanted to be able to remember every second of our first time together. There was no doubt in my mind what we'd be doing once Rainbow Junction closed for the night. The only question was where.

Halloween is my favorite time of the year. It gets dark early, the temps cool down a bit and anything is possible. To celebrate I'm hosting a weeklong countdown to Halloween party. All authors, readers, publishers, etc... are invited to join in and take part in the party. Each day will host a different theme for you to post, based on the storyline of your book.
