Hi everyone,

As many of you may have already heard, 55 year old David Dukes
collapsed and died from an unknown cause last Monday during a day off
from filming "Rose Red".

Rose Red started filming in Seattle on August 22, 2000 and was
scheduled to wrap principal photography on December 20, 2000, but at
this time there is no word on how far back this may now be pushed.

I have also been swamped with copies of the Transcript from AOL's
chat with Stephen King. This is the Second chat that King has had
online recently, and primarily deals with "On Writing". This is not
the same chat I advertised in the last email. Because I ended up
getting over 200 requests for the transcript last time, I will send
this one out to everyone in the next email.

Part 3 of The Plant has been online for a couple of weeks now, and
King has reported that the payment level is slightly below the 75%
level he required to continue. This is not a good situation, but he
will post part 4 on 23 October 2000. Part 4 is the first section that
is actually new text, and will reportedly be about 20-25,000 words,
which is more than twice the 10,000 words in the last 3 parts. Price
will probably be $2, which is still excellent value.
