BRIDGTON — Stephen King's appreciation for the care he received at
Bridgton Hospital after he was hit by a car in 1999 has earned the
hospital another $750,000.
OneBeacon Insurance, the company that insured King for property and
casualty insurance, donated the amount three weeks ago in an
agreement with King that ended a lawsuit he had filed against the
insurer.
