Nearly 20 years back in the year 1984 on a hot sunny day 150 young, energetic, dynamic and bubbly brand of Foresters started their long journey in making the world a better place to live in ! These Foresters had plenty of dreams, strategies for translating their aspirations into action and derive lot of professional satisfaction in the bargain. In the subsequent years to come a few would have chosen alternative arenas for pursuing their goals, but the Forester in their hearts has never died. It is with a view to provide a common forum to all those illustrious 1984 - 1986 batch of Indian Forest Service Officers that this group has been set up. Let us keep ourselves posted uptodate about the tremendous contribution being made to the society by our batch of 1984. Remember we are the most privileged and luckiest of all Indians, because there are hardly 2000 direct recruit IFS officers in a country with over ONE BILLION population !! Let us live up to our reputation and MAKE A DIFFERENCE !
