Thomas Peele, author of "Killing The Messenger," a new book about the
Chauncey Bailey Project's investigation into the 2007
killing of journalist Bailey, appeared with Martin Reynolds of the Bay
Area News Group in February at the Diesel, a bookstore
in Oakland, Calif. C-SPAN2  is airing the discussion again on Easter
Sunday at 2 p.m. and April 16 at 5 a.m.  The show also can be viewed

brief history of the racism in Detroit and Oakland that helped shape
