KhushDC is a group for discussions and event announcements serving the Washington DC area's South Asian queer community and its friends. Group postings are not limited to queer issues.

Joining the group requires a moderator's approval. Once approved, a member can post and read group messages. Posted messages go directly to the group: they are not filtered, previewed or censored by the moderator. The group does not have a member directory, even for its members.

This listserv permits unrestricted topic discussion including event annoucements that can generate over 30 emails a day on occasions. Our associated listserv khushdc-events restricts emails to only event announcements from KhushDC and its allies and is a low-traffic alternative to receiving email reminders of our upcoming events.

Please note that in an effort to maintain a conducive environment for discussion, the following types of activity are not welcome and may result in the sender being banned:
