Welcome to Lampasas Freecycle(TM), where one person's trash is another's treasure! Our goal is to connect people who want to get rid of unused or unwanted items with others who are seeking the same items. No item is too big or too small; but since this is a Freecycle membership list, ALL items must be 100%FREE!

Freecycle is an innovative concept that harnesses the power of the Internet to do what the Internet does best -- eliminate the middleman and empower the individual. Unlike traditional charitable organizations that accept people's castoffs and sell them for low prices in unappealing shops, Freecycle allows for personal contact between donor and recipient -- each gets exactly what they want, and nobody is considered a 'charity case. It's a perfect consumer-friendly circle.

This Network serves the Lampasas, Texas area; people living in neighboring towns are also welcome. DO KEEP IT FREE, LEGAL, & APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. Two strikes and you're out of the group. This is our main Freecycle rule to live by and it's a pretty easy one at that. No advertising your yard sale either please, as this involves money.

In order to join this group simply click on the "join this group" button located at the top of the screen. If you aren't currently a yahoo user, you'll have to come up with a user name. Then all you have to do is choose your settings- you can either choose to get each person's post("OFFER", "WANTED", "TAKEN", "FOUND") in individual emails or you can opt to get a daily digest of all of the post that have been made each day. You can also opt out of the emails all together and just come to this website and check them out at your leisure.
