Dear student,
Capgemini is currently looking for foreign students who want to work as a
researcher on a survey for the European Commission concerning gender equality.
Job Description
The researcher will collect information on women and men in decision-making
positions in central administration, major juridical institutions, the top
publicly quoted companies and the central bank of the country under
investigation.
This data collection will consist of an investigation of the websites of these
institutions and as a second and third step in the data collection methodology
of a telephone and e-mail survey to find information not available on the
websites. Communication will be in the national language of the country under
investigation.
The researcher is a native speaker or fluent (written and oral) in the language
of the country he/she is investigating.
We still need students with the following language skills: German, Danish,
Greek, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Finnish, Swedish, Bulgarian, Czech,
Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovene, Slovak,
Turkish, Icelandic and Norwegian.
Expectations
We expect a researcher to:
ď‚§ Be proficient in English.
ď‚§ To have a good level of communication skills in order to contact
institutions, organisation or companies by phone and e-mail to obtain the
requested information
ď‚§ Have a good level of internet skills in order to find information on the
internet fluently
ď‚§ Follow the data collection procedures described in the manual; work
punctually
ď‚§ Be pro-active in pointing out potential issues/problems and suggesting
possible solutions to the project responsible
Location and Time Schedule
The survey will take place from September 1st till September 30th in the offices
of Capgemini Belgium, Diegem. Our offices can be reached by bus and train.
A researcher will be employed for (about) 4 days per country he investigates. A
researcher can be employed for 1, 2 or 3 countries.
Working Conditions
You will work 8 hours a day between 8h30 and 17h30. Within the survey period you
can choose yourself the days you will work. Working days need to be communicated
at least 1 week before the start of the assignment.
You will be paid an hourly wage of 9€/hour and you will receive a travel
allowance (equivalent to a second class train ticket between your residence
address and the work location). A sandwich lunch and drinks will be provided for
free.
