This is a focused group working on the core principle of "Improvement in quality of life by reforms of governance in India".

Government has the deepest and maximum reach,and reforms in the same can impact quality of lives of crores, specially the poorest of the poor.

The subject of " Lack of governance " has been bothering us for a long time & therefore some of us concerned citizens started working actively for research on the subject for not only the causes, BUT constructive, positive and optimistic solutions that led to Loksatta.

Most of the solutions that we have so far offered are in the nature of administrative reforms & according to us while they are necessary they are not sufficient hence can be taken up at the second stage. Every other reform will flow from a good political governance be it Administrative , Judicial , Educational or Economical. Among others, Criminalisation, the level of poverty & corruption are symptoms of lack of political governance

Our style of operation is collaborative, non partisan and non adversarial. We believe in working as allies with all stakeholders to generate solutions.
