This is a discussion group for devotees of Major Matt Mason and other space related toys of the 60's. Its primary focus is the Mattel toyline from the 60's, but it is not limited to Major Matt Mason as related topics will occasionally be encouraged. This is a user-friendly forum and all with an interest are welcome. Heated discussions are favored while excessive flaming intolerated.

Basic rules... there're only two:

Talk about anything you like. MMM is preferred, but any topic that is related to collecting, space exploration, toys either from the era or relating to now, etc is encouraged. This is not a restrictive list...we all share similar experiences having grown up during the same era. Discussion of MMM will probably head up topics 95% of the time, but why not write about other stuff too?

2nd rule. Excessive flaming will not be tolerated. There are always heated arguments...that's life. Let's try to keep personal dislikes of particular people off this list.

My definition of a flame is any direct or implied attack of an individual, by name or masked reference. Flame someone by name, and you're off the list. No exceptions. If you don't have something good to say about someone, go elsewhere. There is no room on this list for this type of negativity. If you have something bad to say about someone, even a dealer on eBay...go elsewhere. If it is a reference to someone and it is in question, please email me privately and I will give a single private warning to the individual that posted. A second occurrence warrants a boot and loss of subscription.

I apologize if this seems strict and snobbish. It appears that some members of these lists are not only collecting toys from when they were kids, but still acting as they did when their parents bought these toys for them.
