I'm just about finished collecting/updating the MAU Roster but could use a little help-
Does anybody know Lisa Ostelle or Vanessa Ridquist,?I have their names but nothing else.Also haven't been able to contact Bonnie Stockton,or Jeri Lyn Tavis.Please E mail me at nsmithka@sonic.
Robin Haridy at 526-3540 provides horse and ride for Lisa (Lisa had a severely broken finger last fall and was out of commission for a while). Vanessa Ridquist qualified on one of Ed Weber's horses I believe. I'll check and see what phone number I have for her, but I believe you can reach her through him.

I don't think Jeri intends to ride with MAU anymore, she only has a brood mare who really hasn't been riden much. I think she is also having some health issues. I think it is safe to remove her from the roster.
Last I heard Robin was having marital problems and was going to sell one or both of her horses. Lisa works at my small animal Vet's office. I see her all the time. If you can't reach Robin, let me know and I'll check on Lisa's status and future plans.

I just have a few odds and ends like this to clean up and will be ready to put together an up to date roster.Also,thanks for the update cards,they are great!

The 2006 MAU is about finished.Still have a few loose ends.I haven't been able to get a current address,phone or E-mail for Bonnie Stockton so if anyone out there knows her,please contact me.
Also, the next horse testing will be Sat.April 1st at Spring Lake.Mike and Joyce Decker,Michael Murphy will be testing new horses.Please let me know if any other current members will test new horses. I also have 9 new people who have been sent packets.When Joyce Muldovar gets the Volunteer Agreements back she will notify me and these will be added to the testing list.Joyce says it's very important to have these signed Agreements to her prior to the horse testing.

Retired Senior Ranger, Greg Hayes was there at the beginning. So was Isabel Reineke and, I think, Mickey Cook. You may have to call them, for I don't know if they have computers or access to this Yahoo Group. I know they will be able to help.
There was also quite a bit about the history in the articles that were published about Isabel last year when she won the Sonoma County Volunteer Award.

You can get in touch with Greg Hayes at ghayes21@... I mentioned to him that you might contact him. Also try Matt Atkinson at matkinson@... he was a park ranger at the time the MAU was formed. Another was Wardell (sorry can't remember last name) who was the ranger at Anadell and instrumental in forming unit. Plus, he designed the MAU patch.
These guys should be able to supply with everthing you'll need.

the Horse Testing is set to go on April 1st as planned,weather permitting.Rain date is April the 2nd.If you are planning to attend,please contact me either by E-mail,nsmithka@... or 539-9651.I have sent out testing info.to all the definites and am putting together rider binders.

The cost is $100 for the full day including lunch. I have asked Raye to work with us on some of the requirements on the MAU test. If anyone in interested, they can contact me.

This is the current list of Testees for the April 1st MAU horse testing.Please contact me if you are on the list and don't plan to attend Or if you aren't on the list and wish to have your horse tested.

The MAU Horse Testing is Saturday,April 1st at Spring Lake.It's been posted on this list and also in the Valley of the Moon Newletter.It's not a meeting,just Horse Testing .The semi-annual Spring MAU Meeting is May 20th at Sonoma County Driving and Riding Clubhouse.It'a at noon and will be a Potluck.We'll put out more info on that in a week or so.
