Does anyone know a good method for removing or dissolving superglue?
I have some minis that I had assembled a ways back, and when I
stripped the paint, I had to remove their shields. Even after soaking
in Simple Green for an afternoon, the shields still have hard bits of
superglue on them that I can't seem to pry off or chip away at. The
dried bits of superglue make it so I can't easily reattach the shields
without figuring out which exact shield (and thus dried superglue
blob) matches the mini.

Any suggestions?

Use acetone - otherwise known as nail-varnish-remover. It's very cheap and does the job. Most proprietory (if not all) superglue dissolvers are chemically no ...

I have had good results using "Z-7 Debonder", a superglue remover mader by Pacer (the folks that make Zap-a-Gap). When you apply it, the superglue turns into a...

... If the miniatures are made of plastic you can't use Acetone. you can however soak the miniature in NaOH which causes the superglue to become brittle and...

Thanks for the tip on cleaning plastic figures. Will this work with any plastic, like the HO scale soft plastics or is it strictly for the "hard plastic"...
