I remember seeing Mrs BLANCHE's Herbert Tree some years ago.

She is a friend of Dave Woolven.

Think her husband believed that their  ( Llangoven) Herberts desc. 
from the Herberts of Wonastow.

  Bradney has THOMAS HERBERT of RED HILL Parish of Monmouth d 12 Dec 
1771 aged 82 years ( Mural tablet in church)

Mr Blanche then thought the line from / The Families of 
Herbert ,Milborne, Swinnerton and Pilkington of Wonastow. ( see p38 
Hundred of Skenfrith. )

Unfortunately I did not take a copy of her tree.

Have always wondered how the Herberts interconnect .

Maria Amos m Maurice Morgan 23 Feb 1879, and her brother Gwilym m Elearnor
Gettings the same day, both in an Independent Chapel.  I can't make out the name
of the chapel on the marriage records.  It starts 'El' and has maybe has another
four letters.  Both marriages were by certificate, and the minister's name was
William Jones.  Can anyone provide the chapel name?

Was James  married x 2 as the children born earlier than 1839?

   Do you perhaps have information about the first marriage ?

James must have been in Brighton pre 1825 as Sarah  Prichard born
around that date..

Have looked on the 1841 for a John Prichard in Monmouthshire. There
are a couple born in the 1770s/ farmers and yeomen..... which would go
with gent

If "gent" perhaps John  Prichard left a will?

James Prichard born abt 1793 .....this is from 1851 census and he was a linen
draper address Brighton but born in Monmouthshire he was married to Millicent
Bailey at Parish Church West London, on the wedding register on May 15th 1839 it
shows that James father was a John Prichard Gent and Millicents father as a
Thomas Bailey.

Looked at the parish records of Abergavenny, Caerleon, Chepstow, Monmouth,
Newport, Trevethin & Usk and no James Prichard baptised 1791 - 1794 s/o
James Prichard. There is also nothing on the I.G.I

Did he actually marry after 1837 to know that his father was named James,
also why have you not mentioned their professions.
