The Engineering Technology International Alumni Association as the
Lead Convenor in cooperation with the Association of IIT Alumni
Foundation Incorporated (AIITAFI), is embarking a historic college
alumni event since its founding 40 years ago - the holding of the
2nd Forever IITians Alumni Grand Homecoming on July 12, 2008
(Saturday) in celebration of the 40th Charter Anniversary of MSU-IIT
at the MSU-IIT Campus. We are expecting hundreds of alumni
representing the different chapters from the different industries,
schools and business establishments in Iligan, key places in the
country and those alumni coming from other countries. Being an
alumni of the Iligan Institute of Technology community is all about
making contacts, new friends and business connections along with
enjoying the prestige that comes with having completed our studies

WANTED ELECTRICAL ENGR OR NEW GRAD

To all IIT Graduates (Electrical Engineering),

Our company Xtech-RBN which is a trading and service company for equipment in the semiconductor industry will hire one service engineer. Our office is in Light Industry and Science Park I, Cabuyao, Laguna

As trading company and with only three major equipment supplier, we are only 4 here and everyone is generally independent and must be able to work with almost no supervision but must deliver the result.

Please try to refer me some electrical engineer or new graduates who likes their hands to be dirty with HANDS-ON repair and good troubleshooting skills. Basically the work is not an electrical engineers work as we know of, like house wiring, building electrical system design, or power plant but more on automation, sensors, vision system, and with some knowledge on chemicals.

Our major equipment products are XRF (Xray Flourescence Coating Thickness measurement), Micro focus X-Ray, Automated Vision Inspection system for wafer inspection, maybe Scanning Electro Microscope (SEM-EDX) in the future.

The work also involves moving machines manually so a fairly strong (can carry 50Kg sack of rice) and 5�7� or taller candidate is better.

SEARCH FOR THE MOST NUMBER OF ALUMNI HOMECOMERS

The search is on for the most number of Department Alumni Homecomers based from the total number of registered alumni� Prizes are at stake for the winning department.

TOMA Awards and Recognition

TOMA Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Association of Iligan Institute of Technology Alumni Foundation, Incorporated (AIITAFI) and the Mindanao State University � Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Administration to IIT graduates who have made significant contribution to the society and the community.

Annually, the AIITAFI awards TOMA Trophies to MSU-IIT Alumni who will be selected in the search for The Outstanding MSU-IIT Alumni (TOMA), as the association recognizes the alumnus/alumna's career and professional excellence, his/her exemplary contribution to his/her field in the local, national, or international community and his/her remarkable and selfless services to the humanity.

The Awards and Recognition will be held during the MSU-IIT ALUMNI GRAND REUNION on July 12, 2008.

Many alumni devote their unique talents to serving the community and MSU-IIT. You may fit this description yourself, and you almost certainly know someone else who does. By making nominations for these awards and governance positions, you will be able to help us shine the light of MSU-IIT's remarkable alumni.

ABOUT THE SEARCH

The search bestows honor to all MSU-IIT alumni who:

1. has achieved exemplary contribution for the community;

2. has demonstrated vigor and dedication for the betterment of society;

3. has served as ambassador by promoting the vision and mission of the Alma Mater

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION
1. Credentials of achievements in his/her field that is of exemplary contribution to the community. (50%)
2. Personal Qualities and Characteristics (as model of morality and integrity, possession of good human relations, and professional excellence). (30%)
3. Interview or written response/essay. (20%)
