Noshed is an informal network for home educating families living in northern Scotland.

Membership is open to anyone who is actively home educating. We provide a means for families to meet for educational and social purposes. Most of the meetings and events are in the Elgin and Inverness areas but include Huntly, Ballater, Dingwall and Dornoch among others.

In providing opportunities for families to get together, there is the added benefit of 'on the ground' support for those new to home education. However, this forum does not provide information relating to the legal process of withdrawal etc. If you require information of this sort or if you are still considering home education, please refer to the organisations listed below. Please keep in mind that the law in Scotland is different from that in England and Wales and you should ensure that you have the information appropriate to your area.
