The intension of the group creation is to keeep alll the erstwhile tamil iyers or pattars who had left North parur(North Paravoor or N Paravoor),ernakulam district,kerala state, pin code-683513, at various times due to various reasons,connected to their orgins.
Also to invlove all of them to be participative in various religious functions of the 2 samoohams in parur like shastapriti. The famous agraharams in paravoor include madattum muri, Karakkad street,vanchikkadavu street,kavu street,etc. There are 2 samooha madoms namely pandi samooham (near kannan kulangara temple) and palakkad samooham (near mookambika temple).The other establishments which represent the community are the samooham High school and 3 or 4 Chit funds. In search of better oppurtunities talent from this place has gone to every nook and corner of the world. The major metros and the buzzling mini metros in india have a sizable iyer population from North Paravoor. I request all the iyers who are connected to paravoor to be members of the group there by facilitating the exhange of information and more importantly feel connected to the orgins.
