I have not updated this in 6 years- I am going to start working on an update :)

This workshop
is for anyone who would like to develop
an online learning environment
for little or no money.

Welcome,

Learning environments can be used to help with staff development, community awareness and professional learning comities.

Successful participants of this workshop will be able to create an online class / workshop which includes a working course shell, basic webpage, and a tutorial that helps explain a key concept in their course / workshop.

Time, not achievement is the variable in this workshop.

How much time is needed to master the content will be different for each participant. Some participants will be able to complete this workshop in a day. Some participants will need a month. The average expected time for completion (including projects and reflection) should range from 10-15 clock hours.

This workshop will be available to you for a minimum of six months. Each time you contribute to the course, the time will be extended for another six months. You can contribute by posting in any of the course areas.

If you find that you need help with any of the projects, please contact the facilitator of this workshop. You can do it!

Grading
Certificates of completion will be offered for all students who successfully complete the entire course.
