These links have photos of Yoruba Ere Ibeji dolls.

The dolls are from Nigeria. They were made by the Yoruba as memorial
figurines if one or both twins died. The mother washed and dressed the dolls.
Their purpose was to protect the surviving children from harm and to comfort the
mother.
