Description

Welcome to Paradosis: The Original Internet E-Mail Discussion Forum for Traditionalists

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Please read the list guidelines before posting. You should have received a copy upon joining. They are also sent out to the list on a monthly basis. You may also request a copy from the moderator.

The views found on the list do not necessarily reflect the views of the Orthodox Church, any particular jurisdiction, the list owner, or any other list managers. Everyone has an opinion, and each individual member is alone responsible for his or her posts. Those new to the faith are encouraged to join the Orthodox-Convert list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/orthodox-convert. Now on with the official list description:

The purpose of this list is to allow the free exchange of ideas and opinions between Orthodox Christians who have made a stand against modernism, false ecumenism, and innovation, who believe that the Orthodox Church is the True Faith which cannot be compromised, and who wish to hold onto--and pass along to the next generation--the Faith of our Fathers intact and uncorrupted.

All are welcome regardless of jurisdiction, as long as their participation is in accordance with list guidelines. While Church politics is the most popular topic on the list, members should also feel free to discuss Holy Tradition in general, as well as other aspects of Orthodox faith and practice. All topics are appropriate, as long as it is remembered that the forum is primarily one designed for the "traditionalist" perspective. A copy of the list guidelines will be sent to new members. To catch up with what has been happening check out the archives at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/orthodox-tradition/.

The moderator is Seraphim Patterson at serafim@cox.net.
