To those who are want to convert but are unsure of how to convert: The Gerus Guide is the “how to” book of conversion to Orthodox Judaism. It will either get you to forget about conversion or teach you exactly what you must do, in several steps. To order it, go to lulu (the publisher).

**About Membership**: We send out two questionnaires and require that you answer the questions in one of them in order to approve your membership.
In order to keep out spammers (and better help group members), the moderators require some additional information. We NEED your e-mail address to contact you, and we almost never accept applications that don't respond to the request we send to that address. New members are always welcome, but someone who refuses to provide an e-mail address or respond to the moderators' request for more information will almost never be approved to join the group. We think we have an exceptionally warm and helpful community, and want to keep it that way. Check out the Being Jewish Website for general information on Judaism.
We encourage all to join, however do request that those under 17 receive their parents' permission. The ultimate goal here is to convert and become a Jew.
