Our nation is built on the strength of our citizens. Every day, we encounter situations calling upon us to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement. As responsible citizens, we are part of the solution to the problems that exist in our communities, such as criminal or unruly activity, deteriorated structures and landscapes - all of which affect the quality of our neighborhoods.Educating and empowering citizens with information on how to access the resources available to them in crime prevention, safety, housing and quality of life issues.

We encourage communities and neighborhoods to participate in the Neighborhood Community Watch Program; not only does this program allow citizens to help in the fight against crime, it is also an opportunity for communities to bond through service. Crime Prevention Officer Master Officer J. Fair educates communities about Crime Prevention strategies and techniques to combat and deter crime. Educating the community at the block level about techniques to create an active collaboration with the police.

We educate our citizens and provide access to the many departments through our monthly PAC3(Partners Against Crime)meetings. We work along with our Durham Police Department with the support of our District 3 Commanders Capt. Addison, Lt. Yount and the network of our District Investigators who are resources for problems that cannot be resolved by calling 911.

We encourage all community citizens to join us every second Saturday of each month 10:AM to 12:Noon at the Community Family Life Recreation Center At Lyon Park,1309 Halley Street.
