Description

Celebrating 10 years of creating fast prototypes and reducing the use of toxic chemicals!

Thanks for your interest in pcb-gcode!

In case you haven't heard, pcb-gcode works with Eagle and creates g-code files to allow you to cut out the tracks of printed circuit board using a router or milling machine. It also can create drill files, and milling files for cutouts in the board, or to cut the board out of a larger piece. It eliminates slivers that can short between tracks by making multiple passes, each one offset a little from the other one. It is also /very/ configurable. Here are a few of the many features:

o It's free!
o Easy to use setup screen!
o Create files for the top, bottom or both sides of the board.
o Select if you want to cut out the traces for one or both sides.
o Select if you want to drill holes from one or both sides.
o Choose how much copper to remove around the tracks.
o Quick setup for your machine's controller using Profiles.
o Insert your own g-code into some or all of the files produced.

There is, of course, much more. I hope you will enjoy using pcb-gcode, and let everyone on the pcb-gcode group.

I always welcome feedback from users, good or bad. If it's polite, I'm listening! In fact, pcb-gcode wouldn't be half the system it is today without the feedback of it's users. I thank them all.

Feel free to post pictures of your machine, boards you have made, your shop, etc. on the Yahoo! group. There is plenty of room. Just go to the Photos section, create an Album, and upload away.

Happy Milling!

Regards,
JJ
