This is a forum open to all Petarians - i.e. students/ex-students, staff and people related to Cadet College Petaro, Sindh, Pakistan. The group is meant to provide a means of exchanging happiness and sorrows between the members of the Petarian community. In addition, it also serves as a medium of invigorating our minds on how to make Pakistan a better place to live.
Established in 1957, the CCP turned 50 years old in 2007. Over the past 50 years, nearly 7,300 cadets have entered Cadet College Petaro. Of these, nearly 880 are still studying there. Among those who passed out, several reached a position of eminence in different walks of life. They are an asset to CCP, and have proven that this is an institution of high calibre.
Cadet College Petaro has maintained a high standard of education and extra-curricular activities. Every year, most of the top position holders for Matric and Intermediate exams of the Hyderabad Board are from CCP. In addition, Petarians excel in sports activities, declamation contests, and other competitive activities with other cadet colleges and major schools and colleges across Pakistan.
CCP is located around 20 miles from Hyderabad, Sindh on Dadu Road. It was built in 1957.
The photograph on this page is the main Administration Building of Cadet College Petaro, which houses all the classrooms, laboratories, library, auditorium, and the offices of the college administration.
