Garden Ponds is a discussion list for those who have or wish to create a water feature. The list will immerse
itself in all topics related to setting up, maintaining and enhacing water features, as well as troubleshooting.

Horseplay is allowed, although actual horses are frowned upon due to the damage their hooves would do to the
liner.

We will discuss water garden inhabitants, including, but not restricted to fish, snails, frogs and
toads. We will discuss aquatic plants and their care as well.

This is a flame free list. Fire and water don't mix. Flames will be doused by the moderator, and someone
may lose permission to participate on this list if they can't leave the flame thrower at work. Ponds are for
relaxation. If you feel the urge to flame someone, go sit by your pond and come back later.

A reasonable amount of off topic discussion is considered pond side enjoyment and will be tolerated, and probably enjoyed.

The moderator will not rigidly enforce language restrictions unless someone goes off the deep end. The limits on off color language and off topic discussion will be determined on a case by case basis. If they become
a problem later on, the moderator will dive in and deal with it.

Spam is not permitted. Discussion of products that you know about or sell is fine AS LONG AS they are mentioned as part of group discussion, and not just as advertisement. Members who place advertisements will be removed from the group immediately. One spam, you're history.

The Pondkeepers list is for pond keepers to talk about their ponds with other pond keepers. Grab a tall drink and come on in. The water's fine!
