I just got back from an end-of-year/end-of-release-cycle product team
meeting in which each of us on the team walked away with a gift basket
that includes, among other things like chocolate and some interesting-
looking snacks, a bottle of wine from Chateau Ste Michelle.
(Sauvignon Blanc, if that name means anything to you wine-savvy
people.) So, the question is, considering I don't drink wine and
don't intend to anytime soon... what the heck do I do with it?!? I
mean, not that I have any clue about various types of wine, but I
suspect that this bottle is a bit expensive to just throw away or even
arbitrarily give away to the first person I see. And it's not exactly
something I can put on the refreshments table at church!! I'm not
sure if my parents would want it (especially packing it with their
luggage on the plane), since I can't recall them ever drinking wine at
home. I seriously don't know who to give it to! All I know is, I
don't want this thing on my desk or in my home!
