Today one of them will be killed for committing this crime

What is their crime?

They are Christians.

Why Christians can expect to be persecuted?

        Christians are persecuted because they have chosen to follow Jesus. I Timothy teaches us that "everyone who wants to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." Communist governments continue to persecute the church, and radical Muslims are increasing their persecution of believers under mandate of the religious teachings in the Qur'an. Christians are routinely beaten, raped, starved, murdered, and imprisoned for their faith in many countries around the world.

        Their suffering is real and they need our prayer support. It is vital that we cover our suffering brothers and sisters in prayer. Testimonies of these believers have revealed that the prayers that have been lifted to Christ on their behalf have encouraged and helped them in their plight.

        Please pray for your Christian family who is being persecuted for their faith.

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. (I Corinthians 12:26)

ICC (International Christian Concern) is an interdenominational human rights organization dedicated to assisting and sustaining Christians who are victims of persecution due to the practice of their faith.

• Being an advocate for the persecuted on Capitol Hill and the State Dept.
