BHAGAVAN’S PREPARATIONS TO LEAVE US

The preparations were on. Ultimately His master plan worked out very well! And yet, we could never realize.  Later on we were able to  pick up clues here and there  on His plans. But it was too late.

Some of the clues I had picked up, are worth mentioning.

There was a temple complex dedicated to Bhagavan by devotees at Shimla.  Several   years Swami had given them assurance, that Swami will visit this Punya Kshethra, and bless the complex.    The devotees were waiting for several years for Swami’s arrival there.  In spite of His ill health and inconveniences, Swami went to Delhi and then proceeded to the temple in Shimla, and kept up His word. The word once given by Bhagavan has to be fulfilled, before any eventualities might happen.

Then there is the story of  yet another temple, which Swami had promised to inaugurate. This time it was  at Hatsi,  near Poona.  The devotee who built the Sai Panduranga Kshethra was patiently waiting  for many years for Swami’s Divine presence when the doors of the temple would  be opened  for darshan for the devotees. Swami kept up this promise too.

Swami did not wish to leave this world without fulfilling His promises.  Swami was bearing with His advanced age and ill health, so that  the Divine boon of  assurance was maintained.  He is  Sathya, the Truth Himself.

Swami loves His devotees, and He is aware that devotees are waiting for Divine darshan. How much mental agony Swami would have undergone, when he was skipping Darshan very often.

Swami’s another action just a few days before Bhagavan took Samadhi, made all devotees more curious. Swami seemed to be pretty unwell, and yet, undertook a very important drive outside his residence. Swami directed the car to go up in the hill behind hill view stadium. The vehicle was parked under  the mammoth Hanuman Statue. From atop the hill, Swami surveyed the entire township of Puttaparthi and Prashanthi Nilayam.

May be Swami wished to have a last look at His marvelous creation of the Puttaparthi Township, before He decided to exit from his physical body!!!

As I told earlier, we were late in reading  the clues. Late,…..too late…..!

Sai Ram.

Last sunday therewas bhajan at hadsi sathyasai temple. By the grace of swami i came to know only two days before. This is the place where swami visited in 2009 . No need to say this is very beautifull place. Bhajan's were from moring 6 till evening 6 and and it was very well organised by that devotee family. Most important part of that day was the video of that family ttaking dinner with bhagwan.
its was very good and hope to see that video again if bhagwan wishes. We could not see that video properly  becasue many of the devotees now in hurry to leave as they came from the long distance. And we were fotunate to see the swami's bed room where he stayed during his visit

Subject: Miracle in Las Palmas
sunilakk

This happened on 29th may,2011, in the evening after sundays bhajans in Sathya
Sai baba center in Las Palmas. Some volunteers saw vibhuti spread all over in
the hall. They commented that people are dropping it, so suggested them that
they be careful with the use of vibhuti as it is sacred. Anyway, when they
picked up the stack of chairs in the corner, there was vibhuti there too. When
they started cleaning, they noticed two hands appearing with vibhuti. This was
it. Nobody knows how!!! I got to see this miracle on Monday evening at 5.30
p.m., the pictures of which I am sharing with this email. Later at night, around
9 p.m., one hand started becoming dim and at the same time some vibhuti was
noted on Babas chair in the front of the hall. Gradually the hand appeared too.
I havent yet got to see that miracle and hence do not have the picture. I feel
Baba has visited us in Las Palmas, Spain.

Aum Sairam.
P.s.: I have taken pictures of those hands on the carpet.

1ST JUNE 2011
Om Sairam dearest Sai Family,
All the campuses of Sri Sathya Sai University have re-opened from 1st of June. This would be one of its kind re-opening for the blessed university which lost her Chancellor on a physical level. Every year, students would look forward to this day after spending 2 months with friends and family to re-unite with the Divine. This year there seems to be a vacuum in their lives which will be stabilised in no time.
As the Maha Samadhi construction started from the 27th May, students who couldn't make it before could not even have Samadhi darshan.
The Maha Samadhi construction is in full swing. There are huge curtains put up at least 20 feet away from the dais. This probably is done to give enough space for the workers to do their job. This afternoon, when I entered the ashram, i bumped into a person who, with his physical appearance seemed to be working for the construction. Even though he looked dusty, with torn clothes (a typical worker appearance) the first thought that came to my mind is brother how lucky you are! to be part of this great construction. I asked him (to double check and also to get some "inside" information) if he was working for Maha Samadhi construction and with an innocent smile he said yes brother. I asked how is the work going on. he said it is going on very well. They have finished "flooring" part. The next sentence that he said was so touchy and when some one like him says with that innocence it will hit you some where in the heart.
He said with a sad face, what to do, I don't feel like even hammering on the floor. every time I do that, I think, O our Swami is sleeping. Will I be disturbing His sleep? he said he is tyring his best to do the job bit quietly but this job doesn't allow to do so. He continued, I had Swami's darshan many times in this same hall and  I wanted to speak with Swami atleast once in my life time but it was not possible. Swami was always surrounded by people and getting closer to Him was not easy. Now I am right there, with no one around Swami, but still cannot speak with Him. I told Him, all your prayers were answered as you are blessed to be part of the Divine construction. He nodded in acceptance with an innocent smile again. I thanked Swami for letting me meet such a nice person who cared for Swami even after He left the body.
I could imagine the mindset of all the blessed workers there. Like this brother I am sure many of them would have had Swami's darshan in the same hall before. Keeping Swami's body right next to you and to work is not an easy job. Especially when you know who Swami is.All your nerves would be holding the whole body uptight. According to the news, the Ganesha which was in the middle has been removed. The white marble steps which were on the dais have also been removed. I think(its not official) Swami's statue might be placed in the place of Ganesha). According to EENADU news paper report dated, 28th May, the statue will be unveiled on Swami's birthday. (nothing official yet)
As the stage is now completely removed, all the mud, marble pieces etc from the dais is now dumped behind North blocks in the ashram. There were so many devotees, local and overseas who went there  to collect mud, marble etc and why not, these were touched by the divine Himself. Probably these are the only souvenirs available for general public touched and blessed by Swami. These might be the same rock parts which Rama stepped on to remove the curse on Ahalya. I know so many devotees  who take few hand full of mud  from Puttaparthi to put in the foundations during the new house construction or during construction of temples etc and this particular mud being dumped, is equally precious.

Meanwhile some local news papers are still spitting poison on Swami's organisation and the Trustees. Who are we to question their credibility and capabilities? Swami has personally handpicked each and every Trustee. Can any one dare to question Swami? These news are either written with evil intentions or out of complete ignorance. there are also some media organisations which are spreading this false hood to increase their TRPs or increase  sale of newspapers. Let every Sai Devotee bear this in mind that even an iota of doubt or interest in such news will directly mean that we are doubting our beloved Lord. After all these years of DARSHAN, SPARSHAN AND SAMBHASHAN lets not waste that divine opportunity which was bestowed on us which came after thousands of births of meritorious deeds. (I am not targeting any one in particular  or organisation and not denying the basic FREEDOM OF SPEECH which the Indian democracy has given to every citizen)
Instead of writing to that particular news paper or calling them to lodge your objections,as Swami said Stay away from bad company, lets not buy those particular news papers, lets not watch that particular news channel. If every Sai Devotee, as a token of love for Swami more importantly with due respect to His teachings of avoiding bad company, decides not to subscribe that particular news paper, every CULPRIT will feel the heat and this will be a very good answer for the evil forces for messing with Sai Family.
On the other hand there are still people within Sai community every where who are spreading negative energy among Sai sisters and brothers. They don't blame Swami or His organisation but they seem to brief the news paper reports, especially during informal Sai gatherings in the time of service, which itself is equal to doubting Swami. Let every one of us be reminded that even now Swami is in full control of the whole world and Sai Organisation is no exception.
Swami has willed when to come on earth and has willed when to leave His body here. Of course because of the affection and love we had towards His body, we may cry or feel sad but every one of us have to come out of this grief at the earliest and enjoy the proximity of all pervasive Swami.
Attached here is a photo of Swami's ICU published in radiosai.org and also a photo of the dump in the ashram

Puttaparthi: Suspense is deepening about what lies behind the sealed
doors of departed spiritual leader Sathya Sai Babas personal
residence, the Yajur Mandir, even as speculation is rife that about
presence of a treasure.

No one is said to have entered Babas chamber ever since he was
hospitalised on April 28. The keys to the room were with the Babas
personal caretaker Satyajit, who reportedly handed them over to K
Chakravarthi, the secretary of Sathya Sai Central Trust, after Sathya
Sai's death on May 24.

As per certain media reports, large quantities of gold and other
precious gifts worth crores of rupees - that were presented to Baba by
his devotees - was shipped out by some of his associates, while he lay
battling for life at the hospital.

The Sathya Sai Central Trust which met here yesterday deferred taking
a decision as two trust members, Justice PM Bhagavati and Hindlal Shaw
did not turn up for the meeting.

It is said that the trust members want the government to appoint a
special officer and the chamber be opened in his presence.

Politics is also heating up over the issue with former TDP minister
Dadithota Nagireddy demanding that the mandir be opened only in the
presence of devotees, while also asking the trust to reveal all the
details about the assets under the control of the trust by June 16

Sai Baba Turned Impossible To Possible-

Experience By Sai Devotee

Dear all,
Happy Baba's day
Nothing is impossible in the court of Baba, human can say impossible but for Baba nothing is impossible. Here is an experience which reinforces our faith and make us understand that unwavering faith on kind Father Sai can do miracles.Jai Sai Ram

OM Sai Ram.
Dear Saibaba with Your blessings I attempt to write a few lines about my experiences with YOU.

In the year 2007 I moved to Bangalore owing to my new job. Put up in a hotel for 15 days by the company, by the start of 2nd week I was worried about finding some accommodation. Being a girl alone in a new city, i was hoping to find a secure place. I reached one gal from scores of advertisements I saw.
I moved in with her. she was a great Sai bhakt, frequented Sai temple and read Sai satcharitra a huge volume on Saibaba. This was my first interaction with Saibaba in Bangalore, though I have visited Shirdi prior to this.

It was as if He specially summoned one of His bhaktas to give me shelter until i could find something appropriate. Over time I moved to a PG.

At work, my friend and me got be great friends, she often visited Baba's temple and i followed her to HIM.

One of the days, early in the morning, I dreamt as if my Dad had got us a fancy article with a timer ticking below....which he placed in the living room.
I saw days go by and then from nowhere I see that Maharaj ji (a family guru/saint i grew up seeing) rushes into our living room and throws the article out of the window and following that act was a huge blast outside.

The saint then said... "the timer was to expire " That moment we all were left thinking had the saint not come ,how horrific our lives would turn?

Owing to this dream i woke up troubled and worried and prayed to god for our well being.

Around the same time my marriage talks were on .

I visited parents for diwali when dad complained for some urinary infection. He said it was something minor and he should be over it.

My maternal uncle being a doctor suggested getting a test done.

Assuming it was something casual I returned to Bangalore. Two days from then i was alarmed when my mother said, that my uncle read the report and asked dad to see a specialist.

Looking at the report the doctor suspected cancer and asked him to get a biopsy done.

Worried, i asked mom for the details of PSA level in the report which she said was 84 %. I knew a friend in Bangalore who is a doctor and is a specialist.

My friend upon enquiring laid the facts flat to me he said with 84% PSA it was a late stage of cancer and that chances were dim. He asked me to be bold and be by my parents side.

My paternal uncle and doctor every body was tensed seeing the report my mom was kept in dark.

She was hoping that biopsy would come clean.

I was totally shattered, unable to eat , drink or even move from my bed.Never had i confronted anything like this in life.It never occurred to me until then that i might lose DAD.Life was unimaginable with out him. Grief struck and totally broken i just went to Baba's temple and broke in front of him, inconsolable, temple's founder uncle came to me. He understood my situation instantly and meditated for a minute. He then said nothings going to happen to your dad!

For the next 14 days, I came and performed parikrama around Baba's feet. No matter what the report says your dad shall live" . I narrated to uncle the dream i had he then said its Baba's will that your dad shall live. That being the only hope i did as was said and continuously prayed.

It was about a week and biopsy reports were to come.My dad tried to act very normal but deep down he was very nervous.

Since my doctor friend already gave me a sense of what the outcome would be, I was terrified all through hands and legs shaking me on the verge of losing control of my self.

Alas the reports came in and a miracle happened. Biopsy came clean!

Doctors themselves shocked how could a biopsy is clean with a PSA as high as 84%.

I was suddenly so relieved not able to thank Baba enough God saved me out, saved my dearest dad, saved us. I love my dad and mom so much, the two angels. Gems of my life without whom I m lifeless.

Baba bailed us out just .Before the timer expired saved us from the bomb which could otherwise rip us apart!

PSA was retested this time to be found at 14%. Its still quite high but not cancerous. Its benign prostrate and should be monitored.

Life got normal slowly but the after shocks still being felt.

Meanwhile, I was desperate to go to Shirdi as soon as I can and tell my thanks to HIM there. How much ever I tried, it did not happen. My trip materialized thirty days after the result had come. During the journey, I tried to sleep.

I had my eyes closed while we were nearing Shirdi, when I clearly saw a vision of Baba, I opened my eyes almost suddenly and exactly, at the same time, I heard my friend say, we have entered Shirdi.

As if HE acknowledge me coming there..
That was simply GREAT!!!!

Later, after some days, I again had a dream, where I see the same Maharaj (whom I mentioned about previously) He again appears, and this time, I prostrate to HIM and He blesses. I address Him as Baba and He smiles.

I realized it was and IS Baba, who is always protecting His children, wherever we may be.

This taught me that nothing as important as our dear ones every thing else seemed immaterial.

The good and bad we face is our own karma, but if we submit selflessly to GOD He will be the Umbrella on a rainy day.

Be good to every body and impart love and kindness.Submit your self to the almighty this alone can take one forward in their journey of meeting GOD and breaking oneself free of all the Karmas.

Jai Sai Ram

At the feet of my Sathguru Sai Baba

Dear all,
Here is a Sai experience proving again that total surrender to Baba's will and His grace bear fruits to devotees wishes. He is the Malik who is kind and powerful ,who can turn the situation in favour of His child. Please read the attached mail to know more about this .Jai Sai Ram .

Jai Sai Ram Manisha ,
I am a Sai devotee working in a small company, i would like to thank madam who is giving us such a lovely experiences of Sai Baba through this website which is helping so many devotees as a margadarshak.

My self and my husband are working in pvt organisations with small salaries, from long time I am in search of a better job but all my trials were getting rejected .

Few days back one of my close family friend told me about a school which is in outskirts of city, you know the name of the school was SRI SAI PUBLIC SCHOOL, and getting admission there was very difficult, as it was a residencial school and i was not much intrested because they told that it is very strict school .Once the child join the school they don't send the children home until summer holidays. So i was not much intrested but my friend was forcing me just to try once for it.

So saturday myself my husband and my friend went to the school to just see.And when i saw the school i was shocked the school was in big premisses, and you know there was a Sai temple in the school premisses. A big meditation hall with Sai Baba pratima, and the school is full of Sai pictures, Sai stories. I was thrilled and got a feeling that i am in Shirdi.

At once i decided that my child should study in this school only as Sai baba is here to take care of my child. We spoke to the management there but they told that admissions are closed and we cannot take your child as he is from SSC background and this school is of ICSE sylabus.

I felt very bad. My freind who recommened this school is in a very good position. He is zonal incharge of a big corporate college. So he told he will try to get recommendaton and i will talk to the principle he said. But even after his trying so many recommendations he could not get it.

So i felt very dejected. Not only this but nothing was working out, no happiness in life so many responsibilities and no ray of hope.

Suddenly one day i thought of going to Shirdi, so while going home from office i asked my husband if this weekend we can go to Shirdi my husband is also a Sai devotee he also loves to go to shirdi so he took me to a travels office, we enquired about tickets and we got it.

This in itsel was a miracle because that was a holiday season and just two days before if i am enquiring for a ticket and Sai has given us.

Sometimes we do not get ticktes even for 15-20 days even if we try to book in advance. Any how myself and my husband took only two tickets as we had decided to make the trip only for one day .So we thought taking children will not be wise due to ticket issue, so we both went to Shirdi alone with out children.

We reached Shirdi saturday morning, took the room and went for the darshan ,it was around 10.00.

There was little rush it took around 2 hours for us to enter the main hall, I was very upset some how, sad and not concentrating much, thinking that nothing is going to happen and my life is going to be like this only. No one can help me and Sai does not help me.

But when i reached main hall and saw Sai baba i started crying i was filled of joy, i did not even remember any of my problems i did not feel like asking Him for anything. I only said Baba you know everything, and you know what to give and when.Only i request you to take my son in your sharan, i want you take him to your school so that he will grow in your guidence.

After darshan same day we came back i was very happy and got lot of energy. Forgot about Sai school as they told strictly that no admissions. So i contacted another school and got the admission but i thought there is lot of time left so we will pay fees later. I did not pay any fees.

Suddenly on saturday my friend got a call from the principal of Sri Sai school, she told she has some work in his college and she got his card from the office he had left when we went to meet her. She said you can send that boys parents to me i will meet them. My friend called me and told me to urgently go and meet the principle. I called my husband who was in office, he came rushing i took my son and we three went to the school and met her.

she told let the boy write a entrance test and we will see if we can do anything. My son wrote the exam and principle called us in the office. To my surprise my son did not do excellent nor poor but he did not qualify in the exam.

She showed us the papers where she wrote unqualified. I saw the papers we could not talk anything tears rolled out i could'nt control i started crying, she was quite for long time. Now i was prepared that i should leave i dont have a face to talk to her, no hopes.

I broke the silence and said her madam i am sorry but i did not prepare him for the test so it is my mistake, then she started shouting. She spoke to us for about one hour, she shouted on me for not being responsible and she told so many things how you should teach a child to be responsible, than she called my son spoke to him for 30 minutes.

Atlast i requested her to give him one chance and i believe if my son comes under her guidance every thing will be allright. She thought for 5mins and told that some how she is feeling like to give him one change and she told ok i will take your child, but if he does not develop in one year you have to take him back next year. And also told that once you are giving me your child you should not interfere in between now he in my hands i will look after him. I was like Sai baba was speaking from her mouth. I told that is what i want.

And the main thing what i want to let you know is the time was same , last saturday same time i was in Shirdi Samadhi Temple asking baba to take my son in his sharan and same time principle agreed and took him under her guidance.

Just see within one week how Sai baba has made imposible to possible. I am on top of my world now, my son is in his abode. I know He will take care of him i have no worries now.

I am sorry i have written long but you know i am so excited to see this leela happening in my life. I have experienced so many Sai experiences i alway thought of writing but some how i could'nt do. But this expereince i could'nt keep this with in me i want to share this to all the sai devotees. Do not be upsent on anything.Sairam knows what to give and when .He is really taking care of all who belive in Him.

This happened on 29th may,2011, in the evening after sunday´s bhajans in Sathya Sai baba center in Las Palmas. Some volunteers saw vibhuti spread all over in the hall. They commented that people are dropping it, so suggested them that they be careful with the use of vibhuti as it is sacred. Anyway, when they picked up the stack of chairs in the corner, there was vibhuti there too. When they started cleaning, they noticed two hands appearing with vibhuti. This was it. Nobody knows how!!! I got to see this miracle on Monday evening at 5.30 p.m., the pictures of which I am sharing with this email. Later at night, around 9 p.m., one hand started becoming dim and at the same time some vibhuti was noted on Baba´s chair in the front of the hall. Gradually the hand appeared too. I haven´t yet got to see that miracle and hence do not have the picture. I feel Baba has visited us in Las Palmas, Spain.

Aum Sairam.
P.s.: I have taken pictures of those hands on the carpet.

See in Me yourself, for I see Myself in you all. You are My life, My breath, My soul. You are My Forms all; when I love you, I love Myself; when you love yourselves, you love Me! I have separated Myself from Myself so that, I may love Myself. My beloved ones, you are My own Self. - Sri Sathya Sai
The Great Master: Potent Poorna Avatar He is, Bhagawan often acted as a Divine Alchemist affecting transformation of individuals and society at large, in a massive global scale. Looking back in to the phenomenon of Sri Sathya Sai, a flashback into four decades, the author who had a Divinely inspired visit to Prasanthi Nilayam, felt that HE could be the ‘one and only’ force that would make the needed impact, through His love-filled mission, all over the confusing, contradicting feverish fretting fighting humanity. Read an article by A. Dayanand, as published in Sanathana Sarathi, December 1971.

I come from a staunch orthodox Christian family. I have studied Judaism which is the basic foundation of Christianity. I have gone through the Hindu sacred texts, the Sruti (the four Vedas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas and the Upanishads) and the Smrithi (the Codes of Law) and the Epics and Puranas. I have also read the Agamas and the Darsanas of Hindu Philosophy. I found the Upanishads great mystic treatises, revealing higher truths which are supremely authoritative, but highly abstruse. Only a great Master like Baba can enlighten us on them.
I want my Christian friends as well as Hindu friends to read this article for, I find that Christians have crucified Jesus, and the Hindus too have no appreciation of the excellence of Sanathana Dharma.
The aim of all religious teachers has been to establish peace and good will among men. They have come, taught and withdrawn. But, everywhere there is mental unrest. Man is running after he knows not what. Everyone wants peace; but, who can establish peace? The earth is now ruled by a few barbaric personalities.
Contemplating all this, my faith in God, Prophets, Saints and Seers was shattered, and I became a fatalist. I visited Prasanthi, Nilayam and contacted Baba a year ago. His greatness was not clear for me, then. But, my thoughts roamed round Him, now and then.
A few days back, I was in Calcutta. I felt suddenly as if some one was dragging me; without the aim being clear to me, I somehow, reached Madras! From Madras, I proceeded to Anantapur! Baba had predicted that I would be arriving at His Place, giving even the date. I came to Puttaparthi, on that very date! Baba's will led me to Him from a distance of 2000 kilometers!
I had His Darshan; I had an opportunity of speaking to Him. How well He knows me I wonder! He saw into my very soul!
The realisation that I was totally blind came to me. My inward eyes were opened. Light began shining; tongues of fire began swallowing me. I have been transformed. Is it metamorphosis, or is it Divine alchemy?
What sorrow, what delusion, can affect a man who sees the Oneness of all things here? The seers of the Upanishads say, "Lead me from the unreal to the real; Lead me from darkness to Light; Lead me from death to Immortality".
Baba preaches Unity in Diversity. The world needs a Great Master like Baba to establish Peace and to preach the doctrine of Love. Jesus preached the doctrine of Love and was crucified. The very tenants of Christianity are warmongers, now! We want not peacemakers, but Peace. Only people like Baba who knows the psychology of withering humanity can establish peace on earth.
How loving Baba is! Love is all we need; with Love comes everything. How kind His looks are! How loving are His tender hands! How like the Lotus are His Feet! There have come great Masters, Saints, Prophets, Seers etc in history. But, who has been as kind as Baba? His very look changes iron hearts into golden hearts. He never angers. To Him, all are one—the sinner, the saviour; even as the Sun, He shines equal over all.
Trust in Him purges one's foul with the Fire of Love, and, Peace dawns. Baba made me realise that if a man has no self-control, he can have no comprehension. Nor can he have the power of contemplation without which he can have no peace. When he can have no peace he can never be happy.
Many, many gather around Baba from over the world, and believe in Him. It is my belief that, if the present rulers of the world come to know Him, there will be peace and tranquility in the world. For, as Lord Krishna has said in the Gita, "Whenever there is decline to Law and an outbreak of lawlessness, I incarnate Myself." In fact, God never comes to man in all His Glory and splendour. He comes only in a human form! He assumes human form; when He assumes form, fouls disregard Him, not knowing His higher nature that He is the supreme Lord of all beings.
Loving the Lord and loving one's fellow men is the surest way to reach the kingdom of God which is within us, says Jesus. Now, I see the same doctrine preached by Baba after so many centuries. I wish His mission of Love spreads like the roots of the banyan tree all over the confusing contradicting feverish fretting fighting humanity.

Trust defers decision on Yajur Mandir

May 31, 2011 DC Anantapur .aaa.Shareemailprint..May 31: Members of the Sri Satya Sai Central Trust convened a meeting today over opening of Yajur Mandir, Satya Sai Baba’s personal residence, and works to be undertaken to beautify Baba’s tomb (Maha Samadhi) in Sai Kulwanth Hall. Mr Ratnakar said that the trust members discussed Baba’s tomb designs. A decision on the opening of Yajur Mandir was postponed as two trust members, Justice P.M. Bhagavati and Mr Hindlal Shaw did not turn up for the meeting. Justice Bhagavathi was expected to be here on Monday but his tour programme was postponed due to some reasons. Members confined the discussion only to payment of employees’ salaries and Maha Samadhi construction works.

According to sources, Mumbai designers have made five different replicas of the Maha Samadhi at a shed in Prashanti Nilayam and trust members will select one of them after the meeting. Trust member, Mr R.J. Ratnakar, and the council of management members decided to open Yajur Mandir as speculation are rife over treasure in it. He said that no one had entered Yajur Mandir since Baba was hospitalised. He added that all the trust members would meet in a couple of days and clarify doubts over Yajur Mandir. It is learnt that trust members sought Justice Bhagavati’s legal opinion to unlock Yajur Mandir and are awaiting his instructions. Trust members reportedly decided to place Baba’s footprints in front of the Maha Samadhi and an emblem on the tomb representing all religions, besides Baba’s sitting posture statue on a throne at the tomb.

Trust’s chief engineer, Mr Satish Naik, will execute the tomb works. Trust secretary, Mr Chakravarthy, said that members discussed the salaries of personnel of he university and hospitals. He added that salaries would be paid to all employees promptly without delay. Trust members, Mr V. Srinivas, Mr S.V. Giri and council management members, Mr Nagendra and Mr J.V. Shetty, participated in the hour-long meeting.

Playback singer Raginisri speaks on spirituality:

Understanding of god

When it comes to the special ones in our lives, we all put in efforts to make them happy. We talk about them, we think about them. It’s a similar relation I share with God.

I try following his principles, helping people and caring for them. And that is the only way I feel I can reach out to God.

Spiritual beliefs

Spiritual belief is the mother of spiritual practices.

I believe people know us by our actions and God is aware of our intentions.

Spiritual practices

I strongly believe that service to mankind is service to God. Being an active member of Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi, I have been participating in activities with Sai Seva organisation since I was a kid. I joined Balvikas and have been conducting services like Narayana Seva (feeding food to the needy), medical camp, blood donation camp, reading for the blind and so on. Baba once said, “Help ever and hurt never”, and so I try my best not to hurt anyone on purpose.

Prayers bring in victory and namasmarana gives peace, which I practice on a regular basis.

Spiritual experience

Every individual who practices spirituality is bound to experience divinity.

Six months back, my father was seriously ill, and he was supposed to undergo an abdominal surgery. We visited our spiritual guru to be blessed right before the surgery. While returning, our spiritual guru appeared in my father’s dream and gently touched the abdomen with his divine hands. And to our surprise, our father was cured post surgery. The doctor said that it was only our guru’s blessings that healed our father.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba: The Passing of a Beloved Spiritual Master
by Shannon Nies

“I have come to light the lamp of Love in your hearts, to see that it shines day by day with added luster. I have not come on behalf of any exclusive religion. I have not come on a mission of publicity for a sect or creed or cause, nor have I come to collect followers for a doctrine. I have no plan to attract disciples or devotees into my fold or any fold. I have come to tell you of this unitary faith, this spiritual principle, this path of Love, this virtue of Love, this duty of Love, this obligation of Love.” —Sai Baba, July 4, 1968

After 85 years of touching the lives of His followers with His message of pure Love for all, spiritual Master and humanitarian, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba left His earthly body on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011.
As a proclaimed Avatar (an incarnation of God), Sai Baba had many messages of hope and Love for all who followed Him, as well as for all of mankind. “My objective is to establish unity in mankind, to reveal the aspect of the Divinity latent in man, and that God must be the only goal in life,” said Sai Baba. “It is also my duty to make you realize the kind of relationship that should exist between fellow human beings.” This is a powerful and inspiring message no matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs may be. In fact, Sai Baba spoke of his acceptance of all religions and incorporated fundamental beliefs of all religions of the world into his teachings. He explained, “I have come not to disturb or destroy any faith, but to confirm each in his own faith, so that the Christian becomes a better Christian; the Muslim, a better Muslim; and the Hindu, a better Hindu.”
In his physical presence on Earth, Sai Baba provided many philanthropic services to carry out His own message and beliefs. He did everything from establishing free hospitals and schools to creating free drinking water supply projects and housing projects. By devoting His time and selfless passion to deliver these acts of Love and service, he followed his own ideal that “service to man is service to God” and to “Love All Serve All—Help Ever Hurt Never.”
It is incredible to realize the sheer magnitude of the number of people who worshipped Sai Baba and His beliefs. Millions worldwide have held bhajans (devotional songs), service activities, and spiritual sadhana, showing their devotion for Him. And although Sai Baba is physically no longer with us here on Earth, His spiritual, immortal presence is still here in the hearts and minds of all who knew of and worshipped Him.

The Eight Chiranjeevis - Part 0

The Chiranjeevis ( चिरंजीवी )
-----------------------------

The subtle difference between Immortals and 'Infinitely Prolonged'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although the words Immortal (Amar) - अमर and Chiranjeev चिरंजीव are used almost like synonyms, there is in fact a slight difference। The word Chiranjeev is a combination of "chiram" (long) and jeevi (lived)। This word is often confused with immortality ("amaratva")। The following classification of beings will make this clear:

1. Mortals -- Beings who die. Includes all beings on the Earth - Humans, Rakshasas, Nagas etc. This is you and I.

2. Chiranjeevis -- Beings that will live a very long life, so long that normal humans feel that they live for eternity. They started off as humans, but have received the boon / curse of eternal life. Mortals can become Chiranjeevi by good deeds etc., but cannot become Amar easily unless they drink Amrita of Devas. Hence when a younger bows to an elder in Hindu society, the elder would bless "Chiranjeevi Bhava" (live long) and not "Amar Bhava" (live forever).

3. Immortals (Amar) -- Beings who do not die. This includes Devas, Apsaras, Gandharvas. These beings do not die at all. Even in war when they are wounded, they recover and continue to live. Devas drank Amrita, which made them Immortal. Before that, they too were mortals - sons of Aditi and Kashyapa. Note that Asuras / Daityas (i.e. the step-brothers of Devas and sons of Diti & Kashyapa) die in the wars and are then resurrected / revived by way of Sanjeevani Vidya possessed by their Guru Shukra.

4. Eternal -- Beings that will live forever. All the three categories above, even Immortal beings, get dissolved / die at the time of Pralaya (end of the universe), including its secondary creator Brahma. The only real Eternals are Vishnu, Shiva, Sheshanaga (the Eternal Serpent), and the four Vedas ... yes, although they are not really Beings, Vedas are considered Eternal in that they do NOT get destroyed at the end of time.

This series of posts is about the second category i.e. The Chiranjeevis.

The most well-knowns Chiranjeevis are three - Ashwatthama, Hanuman and Parashurama (Bhargava). Out of these, Ashwatthama was supposedly seen recently near Rishikesh. People said that they recognized him by the scar on his forehead. Now how can this be matter of identity where there are millions of people with scars on their foreheads is a matter of debate, and I will leave it at that.

A complete list of the most commonly agreed upon Eight Chiranjeevis (as per Bhagavata Purana) is --- in a possible order of their start of life:

  • Markandeya मार्कंडेय - An ancient sage from the Hindu tradition, born in the clan of Brigu Rishi.
  • Mahabali महा बलि – a righteous demon king who conquered heaven, earth, and the underworld, but was forced to give it back by Vamana वामन
  • Parashurama परशु राम – Also called Bhargava, son of Jamadagni, and the sixth Avatar of Vishnu
  • Vibhishana विभीषण – Brother of Ravana, who helped Rama in his war against Ravana and as a result became king of Lanka later
  • Hanuman हनुमान – Son of Vayu and devotee of Rama
  • Vyasa व्यास - Also known as Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa, composer of Mahabharata, and also the rishi who arranged the Vedas in four parts
  • Kripa कृपाचार्य – The first teacher of Pandavas and Kauravas, before Drona
  • Ashwatthama अश्वत्थामा – Son of Drona, a great warrior and one of the 3 survivors of the Great War from Kaurava side
Happiness alwayz.....

SHREE SAI BABA SANSTHAN TRUST`SHIRDI
TO BE EMPOWERED WITH AUTHORITY TO GIVE GRANTS

01st June`2011

The Maharashtra State Cabinet has cleared a proposal seeking amendment to
the "Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Ordinance 2004",
to empower India's second-richest Temple Trust with the Authority to give Financial Assistance & Grants
to the Boards, Companies or Institutions falling under the control of the State.

This Cabinet decision is spurred by the Government's requirement of funds to implement a slew of Infrastructure and
Development projects at Shirdi, the holy land of one of the most revered Spiritual Gurus, Shri Sai Baba, whose devotees span
across not only India, but all continents, and Baba's Temple is visited by lakhs of people throughout the year.

The Temple falls under the jurisdiction of the State Department for Law & Justice (L&J) and is managed by the Trust,
formed under the "Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Act 2004", which was amended by way of an Ordinance, the same year.

According to the Shirdi Trust's Chief Accounts Officer, Shri.Hemant Jadhavar,
1) The Temple's annual Income through Donations, Rent and Interests, among others, is close to Rs.300 crore.
2) The Temple's Investments in Bank Deposits etc., are to the tune of Rs.529 crore.
3) The overall worth of the Temple's Property is nearly Rs.1,000 crore.

Utilisation of the Trust funds is governed by section 21 of this Ordinance. As of now, the section does not empower the Trust
to extend funds to State-controlled Boards, Companies or Institutions for purposes like Development Projects.

Responding to a proposal moved by the L&J department, the State Cabinet has decided to amend section 21
of the Ordinance to facilitate the Trust to fund Infrastructure & Development Projects.

In 2010, the Government had launched the construction of the Rs.118-crore phase I of the Shirdi Airport project over a 750-acre land
at Kakdi village, about 10 km from Shirdi, but the same has been held up for nearly 6 months now owing to paucity of funds.

The Government had urged the Shirdi Temple Trust to provide financial assistance of Rs.50 crore for the Airport project,
which is being implemented by the Maharashtra Airport Development Company,
a special purpose vehicle headed by the Chief Minister.

It's not just the Airport, but funds are also required to operationalise a Rs.200-crore makeover plan for Shirdi,
mainly through the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. The plan was cleared in July 2008 by the government,
which had also announced formation of the Shirdi Development Authority to recast Shirdi Township on the lines of Tirupati.

Things haven't progressed much on the makeover front,
barring few steps like acquisition of land for the Ring Road project and some Road-widening works.

Overall, the Plan mentioned projects like construction of a 6 km long Skywalk around Shirdi Temple,
Footpaths, Pedestrian Pathways, a 10-level-high multi-layer Parking lot, Ring Road and a bypass road for the Traffic.
Similarly, widening and reconstruction of around 25 km of road in and around Shirdi finds mention.

Thank You Dear Father Sai - Anonymous Sai Devotee

Lord Sai Baba sometimes raises such situations just to let us know what can happen by chanting His name continuously. Such an experience is shared below by an anonymous devotee.
Anonymous Devotee from Malaysia says: My dearest father, please forgive for the delay in posting this experience.

Sai Ram to all beloved devotees.

Today I would like to share my heartfelt experience and proof to you that Baba always and will listen to all our cries at any point of time. Actually I dont know how to start this experience. I have been typing and deleting it few times already now.

Well, my son was born with few complications. I apologize for not elaborating my sons illness here because I strongly believe deep down in my heart that my son is an extremely healthy boy. I strongly believe my son is a gift from Baba HIMSELF as I vowed to Him for a baby boy and He did give it to me. In fact, my pregnancy was only confirmed after finishing the Sai Satcharitra Parayan. And most of the times, I will go to Baba temple after work and ask for His blessings and mercy.

My son had to go for an eye surgery at the tender age of 1.5 months. I can never be able to express with words what I went through. I felt like the universe has turned me down. All I can say is I was half dead. This was when my beloved darling friend cum sister, Malini, told me about Veena Ma and requested me to speak to Veena Ma about my son and ask for her blessings. I called our darling Veena Ma. And I send prayers to her every week for to pray for my son.

Prior to the surgery, doctors told me that this is a very complicated surgery and there was only 50-50 percent chance. Doctor also told me, they cannot take the chance of not proceeding with the surgery as my son could lose his eye sight if they dont. And they also explained the cons of the surgery. I could feel my entire body cold, I was crying and crying non to stop. And suddenly, I got a message from an anonymous number on my mobile; BABA WILL BLESS YOUR SON. KEEP ON PRAYING TO HIM. I truly believe that this is Babas message to me.

With Babas blessings, I got good news after the surgery. Doctors said, despite his tender age, the surgery went well. I was in tears. Soon, I began to realize that the person who did the surgery is not other than our beloved father, Sai. I must also stress that, the clinic room number of the doctor who did the surgery in the hospital is 9. No doubt, it is Baba.

Doctor gave another appointment after 2 months. This time, they will do a thorough check on the eye and should they encounter and abnormalities again, they will proceed with another surgery. My heart sank. I cant take it anymore to see my tiny son on the operation bed. I continued to pray to darling Baba and also send my prayer request to Veena Ma.

At the same time, I gave up chicken, mutton and rice on the name of Baba. After two months (Feb 21, 2011) I took my son again to the hospital. It was the same procedure again. The doctors had to put him to sleep to check the eyes. My heart broke for the second time. I was waiting at the waiting room. I never stopped chanting Om Sai Shri Sai Jai Jai Sai. From the moment they took my son for examination, I took out the Shri Sai Satcharitra and hugged it so tight and asked for Babas mercy and blessings. I was praying that Doctors must come and tell me that Your son is fine now and he doesnt need any more surgery. I felt like crying but there was no tears coming out. I had a feeling; Baba is taking care of everything. After about 15 minutes, the doctors come out. And guess, what they told me exactly what I wanted to hear. I tell you, I was jumping for joy and my happiness had no bound. I thanked and thanked Baba from the bottom of my heart nonstop. Even now, when I am writing this, I have tears in my eyes. I believe to the core of my heart, that Baba will take care and protect my son forever and ever.

I would like to thank Veena Ma for her never ending love and prayers for my son. Amma, Thank you so much for sending Baba to my son. Thank you so much Ma and Ashok uncle.

I would like also to take this great opportunity to thank my beloved sister, Malini and brother, Venket for their never ending support, encouragement, sacrifice and prayers for my sons recovery. Without these two most beautiful people in my life, I wont be where I am now.

Baba, please continue to bless all the beautiful kids in the world who are going thrghou pain and miseries. Please lighten their karma and please protect and hug them with Your warm hands. Please bless all the kids in the world with perfect health. I am begging you Baba, please.

Om Sai Shri Sai Jai Jai Sai.

Update

Men are born with a helpless lamenting cry; they should die with the smile of happy joy. That is the purpose of the years between. But those years are wasted now. God, who is the anchor that will save man from stress and storm, is neglected and ignored. Man is tossed about from one want to another, one grief to another, until he is blinded by despair and exhausted by foiled pursuits. Most illnesses are due to this despair and this exhaustion. - Sri Sathya Sai

Tours at Sai Baba Centre during Doors Open

Many buildings open across Ottawa South

Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual Centre. The stupa outside the Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual Centre depicts symbols and messages from each of the world’s major religions. The centre is non-denominational and welcomes devotees from every faith to learn about human values such as truth and love. The centre will be open during the city’s Doors Open weekend on June 4 and 5. Emma Jackson
A unique spiritual centre in Ottawa will open its doors this June to Ottawa residents hoping to learn about another spirituality – or even something new about their own.
The Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual Centre of Ottawa will be open to the public all day June 4 and 5 as part of the city’s annual Doors Open Ottawa event, which invites residents to explore more than 100 of the city’s most interesting buildings throughout the weekend.
Other buildings open that weekend include the Hindu Temple on Bank Street, The Gloucester artifacts collection and St. James Anglican Church.
The spiritual centre, located at the corner of Hunt Club Road and Lorry Greenberg Drive, was built 14 years ago with funds entirely donated by community members and devotees. The centre and its regular devotees does not subscribe to any one religion, but rather focuses on the human values that are preached in all of the world’s major belief systems: truth, love, peace, non-violence and right conduct.
“We say that all religions basically want us to be good citizens. It all equals the same, it all says do good, be good, and start the day with love, end the day with love,” explained Thayananthan Thayaparan, the centre’s president.
The centre is based around the teachings of Sai Baba, an Indian spiritual leader who has spent his life working to instill human values into society. He believes in the unity of the world’s religions, and his main message is “Love all, serve all. Help ever, hurt never.”
Ottawa’s Sai Baba centre welcomes devotees from all religions to their Sunday workshops and classes, which explore concepts of love, truth and other human values, and ends with devotional singing from every religion.
After every Sunday spiritual session, the centre visits a different shelter or mission to help the needy, rotating between the Ottawa Mission, the Shepherds of Good Hope and several shelters around the city as far as Kanata. Around various holidays they take their singing outside the centre. At Christmas, for example, devotees offer a carol-singing afternoon at the Glebe seniors centre.
“Basically the main objective is awareness of the human values, not only saying them but also how to practice them. And our second objective is serving,” Thayaparan said.
The building itself revolves around an impressive worship hall with a large image of Sai Baba in the middle and ornate decorations around the altar. It also features a small library, meditation room and large banquet hall where the centre hosts free yoga classes three times a week as well as special events. An Indian-style tower, called a stupa, is a prominent feature outside the building, and features symbols and quotes from each of the world’s six major religions. And tucked away on the second floor is an immaculate bedroom, complete with a brand-new bathroom and linens that are changed on a regular basis. However, the room is not used by anyone at the centre.
“We believe that Sai Baba sleeps here at night,” Thayaparan explained. “God is everywhere.”
Thayaparan said he hopes visitors during the Doors Open event will learn that the centre truly welcomes citizens from every faith.
“I think they will see that we’re not preaching one single religion. There’s just one religion, the religion of love, and there’s only one heart, the heart of humanity,” he said, adding that welcoming visitors into the hall is also good for the centre. “If someone comes from another religious place we can have an exchange, so we can understand each other.”
Tours will be offered between 10 and 4 Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5. For more information about Doors Open Ottawa across the city, visit www.ottawa.ca/doorsopen
