The Salise clan is composed of the descendants of Fernando Salise and Petra Salo of Valencia, Bohol, Philippines. The clan can trace its lineage to two earlier generations beyond the generation of Fernando who was born on May 20, 1882. The marriage of Fernando and Petra on September 22, 1902 produced 11 children. Members of the clan are spread across the Philippine archipelago and are also found around the globe, mainly in the US and Canada. Every 2 years or so, the clan gathers for an international reunion in their town of origin, Valencia, usually in the month of May.
