Wayne--Sorry, I Just Read your email... I have quite a bit of
experience in getting psychiatric care for 'under priviledged'
adults. I also have friends, whom I can connect her with, who have
extensive experience, in that area. I would be more than happy
to speak with her, either in person, or over the phone. For my phone
#, she/you can email me at the address, above. I also have
personally battled depression, stress, and some anxiety, while I was
low on funds; so, I can probably really identify, as well as
empathize, with her situation. I strongly encourage her to contact
me, even if she has already gotten some much-needed care. I have
been told that I can be quite a good listener, as well as a wise,
understanding friend. Many thanks,
Rob-
faaast@...
P.S. I also live in San Diego... & I am really good
at communicating with doctors--in a way that Usually produces their
Best results...(I grew up with an M.D. father, and an R.N. mother--as
if that's not enough, my sister also became an M.D.--I am
a "natural", when it comes to maximizing results with
doctors!)
