McCain Campaign Chief Steve Schmidt makes the case for the Republican
Party to be more inclusive of gays and lesbians, going on to say that he's
"personally supportive of [marriage] equality for gay couples and I believe
that it will happen over time."
Separately, blogger and daughter of 2008 Republican Presidential Nominee
Meghan McCain also reaffirmed her longstanding support for marriage

Schmidt and McCain will both be addressing this year's Log Cabin Gay
Republicans National Convention, speaking on how the Republican Party
can rebuild itself and become a Party of the future.
This year's convention is not all about speeches and meetings. Join Cindy
and Meghan McCain at the home of former Congressman Jim Kolbe for a
tour of wines served at historic moments in American history.
