I moved to E. County in 1999 and began attending Vineyard El Cajon.
As a single female 50+ yrs old, I find living in SD County very
expensive... so have had to juggle a few jobs just to pay bills. I
recently quit a job because of unsavory business practices of my
employer. And to add to this whiny diatribe, every time I make a
friend in this area, they move or are transferred (military). So I
have a hunger for just plain friendship as well as a kind, loving
relationship with a man in his 50's. My ministry is giving out
bottled water to street people. I am also an intercessor. I am
considering Metro Church in La Mesa/El Cajon area as a home church.
So, that's that... Anyone out there want to go out for a taco and
chat?
Hi all, just to let you all know I got married 9/26 to a wondefu man. We
moved to Boise and are looking for jobs. Tim has an interview tomorrow at
Fred Meyer's.
Right now I am too busy to stay on any of the lists I am on. So, if you are
a moderator, please change me to nomail. This adress will be gone 12/1.
If anyone wants to keep in contact with me personally, my email wil be
daybreak1975@....
love to you all,
Dawn

Hi everyone! My name is Nichelle and I just wanted to introduce
myself. I have lived in San Diego for 10 years and I have been a
christian for 6 years. It's easy for me to meet people, but it's
hard for me to find normal christian single people. Does anyone else
have that problem??
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I hope we can have fun and get to
know each other as time goes by.
God bless,
Nichelle
One of the major problems that we have our cummunity. It is the
communication. Many time the problem have solution when someone say
about you sadness and happiness in their lives. A quite person give
many times cause that the rest of person thing that he/she has a
mental problem or he is an arrogant.He/she try to involve with rest
of his/her world trying to put interest in other persons. A quite
person has so much to give to the world that He needs to trust in the
Lord. I read Mosses story when he did not want to go the egyptian
emperor. He put a lot of excuses he had in his mind.A quite person
never is alone because Christ is with him in this world. A person
must learn that Lord will give the momento to talk to the people in
the right time. A quite person almost fell alone. he/she can not talk
to rest of the people because it is part of his personality. He needs
to trust that he is son of God. He must take that the place of son's
God and fell the Lord love him/her not matter who is he/she in this
world. It is a hard task to change his/her attitude but we need to
put in our mind that Lord love us and he will continue his work in
our live.
God bless you.

ON MONDAY
On Monday there were people fighting against praying in schools.
On Tuesday you would have been hard pressed to find a school where someone was
not praying.
On Monday there were people trying to separate each other by race, sex, color
and creed.
On Tuesday they were all holding hands.
On Monday we thought that we were secure.
On Tuesday we learned better.
On Monday we were talking about heroes as being athletes.
On Tuesday we relearned what hero meant.
On Monday people went to work at the world trade centers as usual.
On Tuesday they died.
On Monday people were fighting the 10 commandments on government property.
On Tuesday the same people all said 'God help us all' while thinking 'Thou shall
not kill'.
On Monday people argued with their kids about picking up their room.
On Tuesday the same people could not get home fast enough to hug their kids.
On Monday people picked up McDonalds for dinner.
On Tuesday they stayed home.
On Monday people were upset that their dry cleaning was not ready on time.
On Tuesday they were lining up to give blood for the dying.
On Monday politicians argued about budget surpluses.
On Tuesday grief stricken they sang 'God Bless America'.
On Monday we worried about the traffic and getting to work late.
On Tuesday we worried about a plane crashing into your house or place of
business.
On Monday we were irritated that our rebate checks had not arrived.
On Tuesday we saw people celebrating people dying in the USA.
On Monday some children had solid families.
On Tuesday they were orphans.
On Monday the president was going to Florida to read to children.
On Tuesday he returned to Washington to protect our children.
On Monday we emailed jokes.
On Tuesday we did not.
It is sadly ironic how it takes horrific events to place things into
perspective, but it has. The lessons learned this week, the things we have taken
for granted, the things that have been forgotten or overlooked, hopefully will
never be forgotten again.
On Monday - pray and be thankful
On Tuesday - pray and be thankful
On Wednesday - pray and be thankful
On Thursday - pray and be thankful
On Friday - pray and be thankful
On Saturday - pray and be thankful
On Sunday - pray and be thankful

Subject: The Highway Angel
The Highway Angel
He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy
ways. Ps. 91:11.
---------------------
For weeks my husband and I had been looking forward to this
day-visiting our grandson in prison 150 miles away. It was late summer,
and the day was clear and beautiful, so we decided to take the scenic
route instead of the interstate. About halfway into the trip, the old
Chevrolet van started to sputter and lose speed. After pulling into a
small country service station and looking under the hood, we found gas
pouring out of the carburetor. It was Sunday, and no mechanic was
available. Waiting until the next day was not a viable option.
Out of desperation my husband bought some bubble gum and asked me to
chew on it. Feeling very silly, I chomped on the gum for a while. Then
he stuck the chewed gum on holes in the carburetor, and we were back on
our way. Somehow we made it to the prison.
The visit ended all too soon, and we were back in the old van and on
our way home, this time taking the interstate. It wasn't long before
the van started to sputter and then went dead. We coasted to the
shoulder of the highway, where my husband tried to start the van. After
repeated attempts, the battery wore down. The traffic was heavy and
motorists were zipping by, leaving us feeling anxious, frustrated, and
very much alone. It finally occurred to me that the only thing to do
was to pray. Dear Lord, we need Your help, I pleaded. Motorists
continued to drive by, and it seemed that no one was going to assist
us.
Suddenly a young man pulled over and asked if he could help. He looked
under the hood, stuck his hand in for a second, then said, "There, that
should do it." He hooked up some jumper cables and had us start the
car, and he was on his way.
I looked at my husband in amazement, and we too were on our way.
Surprisingly, the van purred along and kept right up with the traffic.
I was mulling over in my mind that there was no way the problem could
have been solved with the touch of a hand when I looked out the window
and saw the same young man stopped at the side of the road, helping
another stranded motorist.
"Look! There's the highway angel again," I said excitedly. Instantly it
became clear to me that my prayer for help had been answered in a
special way.

Healed and set free
Sanctified and made Holy
In the Royal Priesthood of God
A Victor
The head and not the tail
Redeemed

Made Blameless and Upright
Rejoiced over

Forgiven
The temple of God
Tender-hearted
Seeker of the heart of God

Hello everyone, i have a few moments finally to write more about myself as a
way of introducing myself to you all.
My name is Dawn. I was born in the old Naval hospital in San Diego and except
for the four years of early childhood that I spent in Hawaii I lived in the San
Diego area until I was 23. Then I moved to Boise for about three years. I
moved back to San Diego for 8 months and then went back to Boise for 9 months.
I think I am finally done with the yo-yo thing. I really believe God has me in
the place where He wants me. I feel He is going to do some really awesome
things. I can't wait!!!!!! :)
I am 27 and a half. I attended Pt. Loma Nazarene University and graduated with
a B.A. in Child Development. I plan on getting my teahcing cert. and a masters
degree.
I am currently attending Mission Village Christian Fellowship. It is a small
non-denominational church in Serra Mesa.
I enjoy walking on the beach especially at sunset, reading, listening to music,
camping, hiking, spending time with friends, going to movies, and generally just
about anything fun.
I will soon be starting work at a before and after school care program. I am
really looking forward to it. I will be working a split shift but I think I
will like that because I will have time to do errands during the late moring and
early afternoons.
Well I think that covers me for the most part. If anyone wants to know more or
just chat, send me an email anytime.
Take care and God bless you, Dawn

Hi my name is Dawn. I was born and raised in San Diego. I am 27 y.o. and
just recently moved back from Boise, Idaho. The Lord has already blessed me
with a job working for Children's Harmonium Services in their before and after
school care program. I am really excited to be back here. It really seems to
be where the Lord wants me and knowing I am in His will is a good feeling
especially after so much time of not being there. I am currently looking for a
place to move into either on my own or a roommate situation. If anyone knows of
anything that could help me in this area, please let me know. I will write more
later. Have a blessed weekend. In Him, Dawn
